I turned 43 yesterday.
I was 24 years old when I started my apprenticeship.
I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had to work hard to find more balance for myself, and it's a process, a work in progress.
Gone are the days of 12 or 13 hours behind the chair, but I make an effort to make myself present, thoughtful and caring.
Thanks to all who I share my days with, it makes it all just seem to fly by in an instant.
