What is Osteopathy?

It is the assessment of the human body’s functionality in health and disease. By using manipulative therapeutic techniques and palpating the body, it helps treat restrictions to the tissues and joints. The ultimate goal is to restore mobility of the body and all the systemic functions ( musculo-skeletal, circulatory, digestive, pulmonary and nervous systems ).

The focal point is the musculoskeletal system which reflects and influences the condition of all other body systems.

Osteopathic medicine emphasizes the integration of the body systems.

How is the Orthotic Made?

We will collect a health history and physical examination of your foot.
We obtain a Gaitscan and assess your weight bearing status.
We use a Foam cast to create an orthotic customized to your needs.

GaitScan is a diagnostic tool and digital casting device that analyze patient biomechanics for developing your custom orthotic products.

What does this mean for you? We are able to pinpoint the flaws to your gait and help rectify and prevent painful conditions.

Massage Therapy
