I wish every workday felt like this.

Tea on the deck.
Yoga in the sunshine.
A nourishing lunch.
Floating in warm water.
A hammock nap.
Hot tub.
Six curious chickens.
A few cuddly cats.

It wasn’t perfect because everything went according to plan.

It was perfect because, for a few hours, life slowed down.

Maybe that’s what we’re all looking for.

What does your perfect day look like? 💙

I worked in palliative care, and years ago I strongly supported MAID for people experiencing unbearable suffering at the end of life.

Today, my questions are different.

I recently listened to a young man with a disability say that people with disabilities absolutely deserve the right to choose—but only after they’ve had real access to the medical care, therapies, supports, housing, and resources they need to live.

That stopped me.

This isn’t about judging anyone’s personal decision. It’s about asking whether, as a society, we’ve done enough to help people live before we make it easier for them to die.

I’m genuinely curious how others think about this. Can we support personal autonomy while also making sure no one chooses death because they felt abandoned?

Today felt like stepping into another world.

Water so clear you could see every stone beneath the surface. Dragonflies choosing my shoulders as tiny landing pads. The kind of silence that’s almost impossible to find anymore.

Nature has a beautiful way of reminding us what peace feels like.

A fox grabbed one of my chickens right out of the yard a few days ago. Somehow I managed to scare it away and get her back. So for now they’re staying in their run while I figure out a safer setup. I know they miss roaming free… so this morning I’m drinking my tea beside the coop instead of playing in the hammocks with them. None of us are happy!!! A bit of advice please! *

You know what’s funny? A year ago, I would have laughed at this joke.

Now… I’d honestly choose the shark.

I expected insurance claims to be slow. I never expected to spend months feeling like I was being ignored, misled, and constantly fighting just to get basic answers.

Please tell me I’m not the only one.

If you’ve had an insurance nightmare, I’d love to hear your story. And if you happen to know a lawyer in Quebec who specializes in home insurance disputes, I’d really appreciate a recommendation.

👇 Tell me your worst insurance experience.

One unexpected opening means someone gets the chance to experience one of my favourite treatments.

Aqua Massage isn’t about “getting a massage in a pool.” It’s about allowing warm water to support your body so your muscles can let go in ways they often can’t on a massage table. Many people leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply rested.

If you’ve been meaning to book, this is your sign.

I asked Louise to choose a tarot card for her future…

She confidently picked the Prince of Hearts. ❤️🐔

So… does this mean romance is in the coop? 😂

Should I be looking for a handsome rooster, or is she just manifesting extra treats?

Either way, she’s clearly more optimistic than I am. 🤣

If you read tarot… what would you tell Louise?

I’ve always found it fascinating that two people can look at the exact same tarot card and see something completely different.

One person sees fear.
Another sees hope.
Someone else sees a fresh start.

Maybe that’s because the card isn’t really changing…

We are.

That’s one of the reasons I’ve fallen in love with tarot over the years. Not because it tells me who I am, but because it invites me to pause and reflect on who I’m becoming.

I’d love to know… what draws you to tarot?
