Do you ever have days when you feel down and thinking about the way you feel would make you feel even worse? 🙈😆
I often have to remind myself that feeling sad is completely ok and I shouldn’t feel guilty for not being able to lift my spirit up when I see an abundance of happy posts on social media. 🙈
Sometimes greener grass is fake.

The truth is that what people post on social media often has very little to do with their inner state of mind.
Much of this happiness is real. And much of it is totally manufactured (sadly).

This reality was crystallized by a Twitter thread started by Tracy Clayton, who asked her followers if they would be comfortable sharing a photo they had posted on social media during a time of personal strife.

I thought I would share some of those posts here as a reminder that we ALL have our own struggles. (As obvious as it sounds 🙄)
And it’s a matter of finding things in our life to appreciate and enjoy. Even when it’s hard 🙏
