Hello and welcome!

I thought i would reintroduce myself for anyone new! My name is Alden and I am a makeup artist residing here in Kelowna!

I’ve always loved makeup and during quarantine I needed something to do to pass the time and for me that was doing makeup, I was very inspired and loved practicing different looks that I saw on Pinterest and TikTok. I soon realized that I wanted to do makeup for a job and moved two provinces over from my really small town to attend Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver BC where I got my education in makeup artistry. I learned everything from bridal and beauty to special fx and editorial, it really helped to expand my knowledge.
This year I am looking forward to seeing my models face lit up when they see themselves in the mirror. I love making people feel their absolute best as they deserve the best!
Here are some fun facts about me:

1. I love strawberries and enjoy going berry picking any chance I get.
2. I grew up on a farm a few miles away from my hometown in Saskatchewan, it had a population of about 900 people total!
3. I love dogs so much, right now my favourite dog is a basset hound and I think his name would have to be Frank.
4. I love doing airbrush makeup, it’s super fun and I love how creative you can be with it!

I am looking forward to seeing my models face lit up when they see themselves in the mirror. I love making people feel their best!
