Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage

The largest lymph node in the body is in the abdomen called cisterna chyli, and if it gets blocked your gut will be inflamed.
The lymph needs to travel from the spine up to your collarbone. If the collarbone is blocked then the lymph fluid gets stuck and your body won’t be able to heal your gut.
That is why the collarbone is the number one spot I work on during your massage to ensure that it’s not blocked and fluid can flow freely.

Place your hands on your belly and take a deep breathe making sure your belly expands on inhale. Repeat.
Deep breathing exercises help the flow of the lymph fluid through the body.
Diaphragmatic breathing stimulates the cleansing of the lymph system by creating a vacuum effect which pulls the lymph through the bloodstream.

The lymphatic system is part of the immune system. It produces and releases lymphocytes (white blood cells) and other immune cells that monitor and then destroy the foreign invaders, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi, that may enter your body.

The health of a woman’s lymphatic system will have a direct impact on her ability to move progesterone around the body. Because progesterone is so critical to female hormone balance, it may be more important than ever for our lymph to be moving freely, serving as a delivery system for progesterone, to balance out estrogen.

My client suffers from Endometriosis and I am beyond happy to say she felt great after her massage.
She was a week post laparoscopic surgery to reduce endometrial tissue.
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue that lines the uterus starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
One of the main symptoms, can be pain caused by the tissue build up.
Lymphatic drainage massage may help reduce symptoms of endometriosis by stimulating the lymphatic system, reducing pain in the abdomen, reducing swelling and aid with digestion and sluggish bowels.
