What is a fade?: A fade haircut is a cutting technique that tapers the hair so it eventually “fades” from long hair into the skin.

What is a crew cut: The crew cut is a timeless, low-maintenance haircut featuring a tapered back and sides (sometimes with a fade) and longer length on top.

Where did the crew cut originate?: The crew cut originated in 1927, when Yale rowing team member Jock Whitney had his hair cut short and the rest of the crew adopted the look.

What is a pixie cut?: A pixie cut is a short hairstyle, generally short on the back and sides of the head and slightly longer on the top, with very short bangs. It is a variant of a crop.

Where did the pixie cut originate?: Fast-forward to the 1950s, and the pixie cut as we know it today (though not quite as short,) was born. Popularized by the actors Audrey Hepburn and Jean Seberg, who boldly rejected the long waves and coifs of their silver-screen counterparts.

Some things to note...

- The haircut may take a little longer than average since I am still a student.
- The haircut may have very minor imperfections, though is supervised by a qualified instructor.
- Because I am a barbering student, I am primarily doing short haircuts since I will mostly cut short hair in my field. However, I am open to cutting longer hair since I have been trained to do both!
- I unfortunately do not offer the styling services that come with long hair, such as blow outs or curling ect.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance if possible. If you value my time, I promise I will value yours.
