To Our Topknot Fam:

This year marks our seventh year of Topknot. It’s hard to believe that seven years ago we opened our doors - and with the support and love from our amazing clients, we’ve been through it all and thrived. It’s such an incredible feeling - and we can’t thank our community enough.

Now, for some news that’s a bit of a heartbreaker: our original Topknot location will be closing at the end of December. The unit has been put up for sale, and while it’s out of our hands, it’s definitely not the end of Topknot.

Here’s the bright side: our incredible TK team isn’t going anywhere! Each of our stylists will be staying in Yaletown and even though we will be in different salons in the new year, we will still be supporting each other and keeping you all looking your best.

We’ve known Stacey for a long long time (shout out to Avant Garde!) and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be back working alongside her. She is incredibly creative and meticulous in her craft. If you’re looking for a super caring colour specialist - you’ve found her. You’ll always feel like you’re on cloud nine after your visit.

Oh - and just in case she couldn’t be cooler, she also DJ’s in her spare time. 🫶🏼

Tamara has recently made the move to Vancouver from Edmonton and is thrilled to start exploring the west coast.

She is a master colourist and specializes in weft extensions and customized hair toppers. We’re so excited to have her extensive knowledge of innovative ways to improve thinning or finer hair. She can work serious magic - and we can’t wait to see what looks she can achieve at Topknot.

Tamara will also be supporting Ashlee’s clients while she is taking some time away to welcome her baby boy.

💕 New Babes On the Block 💕

We are beyond thrilled to welcome Stacey, our former colleague from our Avant Garde days, to Team TK. Stacey is an absolute pro. Cut, colour, style - you name it, she can do it. Tamara, who recently moved to Vancouver from Edmonton, comes to us as a colour expert – ready to help all our babes feel their best!

🤰🏻 We’re Expecting a Tiny TK Addition, Too! 🤰🏻

Although Topknot is her first baby, we're thrilled to share, Ashlee is welcoming a baby boy this summer! She is taking some time away from the salon to prepare for her little bundle, and will keep you in the loop regarding her return. In the interim, Tamara will be taking excellent care of Ashlee's clients while she is away. If you haven’t had the chance to meet Tamara, please book in - or reach out to us with any questions.

We've recently updated our menu to help our babes select the right service for you. We’re sure you’re feeling it too: product costs have been increasing over the past few years and have done our best to hold off on any price increases; however, it was time for us to align with the market in Vancouver and wanted to make you aware of a few changes. If you have any questions, your TK Babe would be more than happy to walk you through our improved menu.

We can’t thank you enough for all of your love and support over the past FIVE years! We couldn’t have our boutique, female-founded business, without you. Can't wait to see you soon.
