We did 3/4 nano hair strokes through the front and body of the brow, then finished the tail with a soft powder effect for a little extra definition and longevity.

Honestly… we couldn’t even tell which hairs were real and which ones were tattooed. 🤯 That’s exactly the goal—natural, seamless, undetectable.

This technique is perfect for anyone who wants the look of real brow hairs with just enough soft shading at the ends to create shape and fullness.

She had old powder brows that healed unevenly and had always dreamed of soft, natural hair strokes. I explained that because she already had powder brows, there’s always a chance the strokes won’t show as crisply as they would on untouched skin. But she understood the risk and wanted to go for it anyway.

Fast forward… I haven’t seen her for her perfecting session yet, but she messaged me saying the strokes healed beautifully! 🙌

This is a great example of why every brow correction is unique. In some cases, it is possible to add nano hair strokes over existing powder brows—but it depends on a few things:
✨ How saturated the old tattoo is
✨ How much the pigment has faded
✨ Your skin type
✨ The color and depth of the previous work

When the old brows are faded enough, adding strokes can create a softer, more natural look without starting from scratch.

Thinking about booking a brow correction or permanent makeup appointment?

Please text me clear photos of your brows before booking. This step is extremely important, as not every set of previous brows is suitable for correction. In some cases, laser removal or lightening may be recommended before we can safely achieve your desired results.

For this client, her previous work had faded enough that we were able to perform a correction. She wanted her brows to be slightly thicker, more defined, and a bit darker, while still keeping them soft and natural.

Remember, fresh brows always heal lighter. The colour will soften as they heal, leaving you with a beautiful, natural-looking result.

Every brow correction is unique, so sending photos beforehand allows me to recommend the safest and best treatment plan for you.
