On New Year’s Eve I will be setting up at the wonderful .onmain for a fun-filled day of makeup! I have 8 time slots available for anyone who wants to get glammed-the-hell-UP before that clock strikes 12, bringing us into a new year! 💄🎉🥳

I had so much fun working with some new products to create this look! I mean… LOOK AT THOSE EYES. already has the most beautiful light blue eyes, but by incorporating a mixture of brown shades it reaaallly brings out that icy blue 🦋🩵

- I used Mac cosmetics pro longwear fluid eyeliner in the shade “blacktrack” to create that subtle wing 🩷

To have your makeup sit so well, that it gives the illusion of being air brushed. The ultimate *chef’s kiss*.

How do we achieve this? …..

Well, as an MUA we work with what comes before us in our chair. It’s actually YOU who can do the work prior to a makeup application to help achieve this look.

It all stems back to your morning and evening skincare routine! Are you using medical grade skin care that caters to your skin type? Are you going for regular facials or treatments to rid of all of the dirt/peach fuzz that skincare can’t remove on its own? Are you using a moisturizer before makeup application that mixes and sits well with your water/oil/or silicone based foundation? (Making sure to let your moisturizer settle into the skin for at least 10-20 minutes before you start applying makeup)

Hit up your local aestheticians or skin experts, follow their recommendations and you WILL have that porcelain base that we can work with to achieve an air brushed makeup look!

Look at this absolute stunner on her grad day! She wanted a very natural pink toned eyelid (and lots of blush!) , but wasn’t sure about liner so I diffused some black eyeshadow onto her lash line! Which made her eyes really pop!

When I started wearing makeup around the age of 14/15, I didn’t think it would turn into a full blown passion, better yet one of my careers… But here we are 🥹

Let’s talk WEDDINGS:

- booking a trial before the wedding is highly encouraged for the bride. This helps us go over different looks, for you to choose what you like best for the big day. This will also help to speed up time the day of if we already mapped out the products we will be using on you the morning of your wedding!
- if you want to have your contour stand out in professional photos, it is better to go a bit more bold in person, to have that contour really pop in photos!
- brides + bridesmaids — BE PICKY. Tell your MUA if there’s something you want changed quickly or if you’re wanting us to add more bronzer/highlight etc. Your MUA won’t be offended! You are paying a good amount for professional photos, you want to look and feel your best in them!
- brides, make sure you discuss an end time with your MUA prior to the morning of your wedding, this way we can plan out a start time based on how many hours we have to complete the entire bridal party (plus more if you include Mom’s/Grandma’s, etc)
- if you happen to have a cold sore the day of your wedding or days leading up to, please inform me! This way I can sanitize even more accordingly and bring extra disposable applicators to avoid the transfer from one person to another
