Ciel Soap and Aromatherapy

Belgium and my grandparents are survivors of both world wars. Herbs and oils were used consistently and my grandmother was known in war time for her healing tinctures and applications. This amazing knowledge was passed down to me. However, growing up in Canada I quickly became used to modern ways and techniques. In my late 30’s I re-discovered the power of plants. I began to experiment with my oils and herbs and after 25 years of being employed in the financial industry I said goodby to that life and returned to the roots of my passion for aromatherapy. I felt as if I had found a long lost friend! I quickly enrolled In The British Columbia Institute for Holistic Studies and graduated in January/04. I have spent the last 15 years researching Essential oils and attending numerous aromatherapy classes and workshops. I taught evening classes at the local university for several years in soapmaking, lotions, bathbombs and aromatherapy.
