Happy Monday Everyone. Another beautiful sunny day. Little update... Since BC has entered phase 3 of the provience's restart plan thought ill let everyone know, that basically not too much has changed when visiting the shop. All sanitizing protocols remain in place. Restrictions have been loosened in regard to masks, no longer is it a requirement for fully vaccinated individuals but i would apprecaite if all guests and staff continue to wear a mask during hair services, unless social distancing is possible and the door can be kept open to allow proper ventilation. if you can not wear a mask for health reason, just let me know, i totally understand. Looking forward to seeing everyone, days and hours of operation remain tuesday to Saturday 9 to 5. Appointments are recommented. please call during work hours 250 386 4090 or text 250 589 8704. I want share a lovely article and photo that I received today from a friend and her husband. Adriana and Gary, you both rock. This is amazing. Can't wait to see both of you soon.
Happy Mother's day to all my friends and guests. I'm so sorry i'm not here for you today to do your hair. For those that can get together with family, enjoy the moments. If its not possible in person, share the love in any others ways. pick up the phone, video chat or maybe just a drive by. This isn't going to last forever, but for now stay safe and Healthy.
In regard to the shop, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm sure if all goes well with the opening up of BC, I will be able to return to work by the end of May or maybe before? I will let everyone know when, as soon as I know. Also I will be letting you know what the new normal at the shop will be. It may not be quite the same as before. I'm just looking forward to seeing everyone and getting back to work. All my love, Dianne
Hi Everyone, sorry I haven't been around. Missing everyone.
i wanted to let everyone know, I think we are at the home stretch. While hair salons are not included in BC's phase one of opening up, I expect we should be hearing something and be back in business by the end of May. There has been a lot of chat within the business about what changes to expect and how to make things safe. so it won't be much longer. as soon as I know when I will be opening, I will be booking appointments. in the mean time, if there is anyone I can do, give me a text or call. i'm here. Also if you are in need of any products, let me know. I can pick them up from the supplier for you. Everyone, hang in there. Stay well and safe, Dianne
Hi Friends. hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Thought i'll pass over some ideas to watch during this stay home situation. As most ppls who know me know I love theatre. Yesterday on you tube I watched One man, two Gurnors with James Corden and it was crazy fun. So here are a few things to check out. Cirque du Soleil has a new special on their you tube channel. National Theatre home is showing a free production every week. (that is where I found One Man) The Globe is also doing the same. Also on you tube, free streaming of Andrew Lloyd Webber musicials. enjoy the shows and keep in touch. This won't last forever. dianne
something to add to my last post. try to embrace this time to grow out your hair instead of trying to cut it yourself. this will give you a chance to try out a new hair style. please don't attempt to lighten your hair yourself, if you must cover your roots, use a semi or demi colour that will rinse or fade with shampooing. And this is a good time to shampoo less, your hair will end up being healthier. keep in touch as I will. miss everyone, Dianne

good morning friends. Hope everyone is staying healthly and safe. Today I thought i'll mention how to trim your own hair. My first response is, please don't, but depends on how long this lasts, I would like to help everyone get through this. I found a pretty good article that I think is helpful, so I will paste it here. I have a couple suggestions as well. cut your hair dry as it will be easier for you to see the end result. please cut little bits at a time, if possible use a pair of scissors that has a short blade. shorter blade = less hair to come off at once. longer blade also makes it easier to cut yourself. please let me know how this goes, send me messages, pictures. text me with any questions. I will try to help as much as I can.

Hello. I have had a few inquires regarding my future business. I was asked about prepayment for future services when i can reopen. yes, that is very possible and very much appreciated. Also I was thinking about everyone's colour. While I can not apply the colour myself, I can mix up the colour I usually use for you to apply. I can be reached via my cell or email. for pickup of colour, I can package it up for you so we can still keep the social distance and stay safe. please feel free to text/call or email me anytime. we will all get through this with each others help.
