Hello to all my friends and clients who follow me here. I hope the recent self-quarantining hasn’t been too difficult for you all. I’m pleased to announce that the salon will be opening again on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Our experience together will be a little different than before; we’ve been successful at flattening the curve on this pandemic, and I want to ensure that my business does nothing to change that. I will be sterilizing and sanitizing between clients, and limiting the number of patrons in the salon at your appointment time. This means that unless you come with a family member or someone close to you, you will be alone in the salon with me. Not much different...😊 Wearing of masks will be left up to your comfort level.

I do request for any person who makes an appointment,if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, that you inform me and we can arrange a new appointment for a time when you are well. I have compromised health issues, and cannot be exposed to anything that could further them. I’d like to continue to be here for you and your hair needs.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all again, and doing one of the things I love best - helping others feel and look their best. Let’s get our world back in order again, slowly...

I know your roots are bad, I know your hair will be too long and you won't feel like yourself. I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more.
Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort. With uncertain clarity, we hope and pray that you will be back to us soon and our industry comes back stronger than ever! 🙏

In the midst of this corona virus, I will continue to be open for business as long as I am able. If my clients are not well, I trust them to not come to my salon. My establishment is small, isolated, not heavily populated and I employ very strict policies on cleanliness. Thank you to all my clients who continue to support me and thank you more to all those who need to change appointments if they don’t feel well.

Hello all! I admit I’ve been a poor page owner and apologize for that.

Here’s an update. For the past couple of years I’ve been out of commission a fair bit and Gonnie has been holding down the fort. What a sweet lady! She’s having some issues with her back and is taking some time off, so I am now back in the salon full time. 😊👍

I’m there Tuesday- Friday from 10 am to whenever things die down. (Usually 3 or 4 pm). I am also available in early evening and Saturday by special arrangement.

I’m fully aware that my health is important so have promised myself to not overdo it!

I’ve been back a couple of weeks now and sure am enjoying being there and welcoming all the clients who are glad to see me back, as well as meeting new ones.
