There’s something I need to tell you guys. You know I love dogs, I love them so very much. All my 4 dogs are adopted. My 3 small dogs were all from high kill shelters in the US. I am very passionate about adopting dogs as aspose to buying them for breeders, and I feel very strongly about this. I want you to know why.

Around 3 million dogs are euthanized in shelters a year. If you adopt, we can reduce this number dramatically. A lot of these dogs are perfectly healthy and normal, they just aren’t desirable based on appearance. 🥺 black animals are the least likely to get adopted.

Only one out of 10 dogs in a US shelter will find a permanent home. They literally just wait in their cages in the shelters and if nobody’s comes (depending on the shelter they have 48 hrs/ 10 days) they get euthanized.

You adopt you save a life. You help break the pet overpopulation cycle. Please for the love of god, spay and neuter your pets. 🙏 You have the most incredible bond with an animal who knows you rescued them. It’s amazing. I promise you.

If you didn’t adopt I still love you, and your dog. These are just things I think about often and I want to bring awareness to this issue. I want you to to know the impact you could have. 💜💜
