My favorite stretch to do when I'm stuck behind the LRT train at Caroline and Erb St. is for my upper traps.
It gives your neck a break from staring at brake lights and helps you pass the time waiting for the LRT to crawl through the intersection.

Here's the honest answer to the "is it worth it" question:
It depends on what you're comparing it to.
If you're comparing it to a treat - something nice you do for yourself when you've been especially good or especially stressed - then maybe the math is harder to justify.
But if you're comparing it to the cost of ignoring what your body has been trying to tell youโฆ the sleep that doesn't restore, the headache that shows up every week, the tension that has become so normal you've stopped noticing itโฆ then the math looks completely different.
It starts something that the hot bath, the foam roller, and the "I'll feel better on my own" have not been able to start.
The fence is comfortable. I get it. But your body has been on the other side of it for a while now - and it's ready when you are.
