Come along with me while I show you how I clean my brushes. I’m only showing on a few brushes, and the video has been clipped here and there to help speed up for time.
As someone who’s struggled with disability since having my son, I’ve had to figure out new ways to get gritty work done to provide the cleanest tools for my clients.
-Now, when it comes to working on-site, there’s usually chairs I work on that are at eye level so I’m not hunched over or standing in an awkward position.
I’m making this video because I know it’s considered an unconventional way of cleaning and disinfecting - but I wanted to bring attention to artists with disabilities, because I want those artists to know that it is possible to provide an environment for your clients that’s done effectively, and you can still apply make-up / hair even when you’re not in good shape due to disability.
WHAT DO I USE?
✨A magic concoction cleaning solution that I’ve created myself | Boiled water + Baby Shampoo (live clean brand) + 70% Rubbing Alcohol
-The amount of each that you use depends on the size of bottle you’re going to be using.

✨70% rubbing alcohol spray (for after all brushes are finished)
