Was there something you did PRE-kids, just for you, that now you rarely if ever have time for?

I have many!
One is, doing my nails.
I LOVE painting my nails. Nail art. All of it. But it takes time. Time to actually paint. More time to complete nail art. Even more time to dry!
The other night, after Little Bird went to bed, and The Wild was at Nana’s, I pulled out my polish! I had a bee in my bonnet about leopard print nails!
Are they perfect? No! But they make me happy! Threw in a little rose gold sparkle and I totally got the vibe I was after!
In the end, I love that I made the time to do something I love and haven’t done in years!
Self care comes in many forms. Choosing not to clean and run around like a mom 😂 and focus on something for myself, in my own home, was a if choice. I need to do more stress reducing activities for myself!
