Growing healthy hair can be done in so many ways. Extensions can make the transition easier in a big way. What are the keys to success?
1) install that matches your density-over filling hair looks bottom heavy and add way too much weight to your existing hair.
2) proper maintenance- both at home and in the salon!!! Sulphate free shampoo, real conditioners (not silicones and oils). Ensuring hair is 💯 dry before you utilize any hot tools. AND heat protectant EVERY TIME!
Salon visits should be every 6 weeks. 6 weeks after initial install to ensure everything is sitting correctly and the install is not damaging your hair. This visit also ensures you are following a great home care routine. At the second 6 weeks it’s time to remove and reinstall! 3 months is the max that your extensions should be in without a full removal!
3). Every reset comes with a haircut on your natural hair! This is a must!!
I often see posts from people complaining about the damage extensions have done to their hair….but it’s the ends that are damaged….not the root! Extensions are always attached at the base of the hair…any damage beyond that area is fully on maintenance.
Get into a routine and your hair will grow and be healthy! Then it’s a choice as to weather to continue with extensions or rock your natural locks ❤️
