Incase we have been unclear in the past...if you are unwell in any way please call 250-398-7895 and cancel your appointment. If you have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been tested and are awaiting test results, please call and cancel your appointment. We do not receive sick pay and would greatly appreciate “your consideration of our wellbeing” during this pandemic. We look forward to serving you for many more years, please help us to do so.

Due to Covid 19 we have updated our protocol. These safety measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of clients and ourselves.

Country Cottage will now operate on a “by appointment only” basis. So please call and leave a message, we will get you booked in.

DO NOT ENTER IF: ❌
-if you or someone you know has been sick in the last 14 days
-You are showing symptoms of a fever, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath
-If you do NOT have a mask on

WHEN YOU ENTER: 🌸

-ensure you are on time, no more than 5 minutes early. We do not have a waiting room so we will require you to sit in your vehicle or stand outside until your scheduled appointment time

-ensure you have a mask on. If you do not have a mask, please knock on the window and a staff member will provide you with a mask outside for $5.00

-wash your hands with sanitizer before entering

A few other things to note:
-the washrooms will be closed except for emergencies only as we will have to sanitize everything after use

-If you show up 15 minutes late we may not accept your appointment as we need to allow proper sanitizing time between clients

-no food or drinks are permitted in the salon
-please do not bring your friends or family
-if you’re child requires adult supervision, one parent may be present

-prices may have a slight increase of $5-10 dollars per service to account for all additional costs associated with disinfection and client control

I guess this answers the question of all Salons in Williams Lake 😢. To my beautiful staff I will get your ROE’s to you ASAP

Now for the other 20% of you, let’s talk…
I want to help you understand what happens when you decide to no-show, or chronically run late to your appointments.

When you choose to not show up for the appointment you scheduled, the stylist you booked with does not get paid.

Before deciding to no-show for a future appointment, please consider how you would feel if you showed up at work and your boss informed you that they were going to deduct hours of your pay each week because they felt like it.

Here’s the thing, when you no-show for your appointment, you are essentially taking money away from the stylist

In a service business where appointments must be booked for services to be rendered, your appointment time is reserved for and dedicated to you and only you. They can’t ‘sell’ that time to someone else if they don’t know in advance that you aren’t going to be there.

If you will kindly give your practitioner a 24-hour cancellation notice, they can usually fill the spot and everyone wins. It’s not a lot to ask and it makes a huge difference.

I will conclude this letter by saying beauty biz practitioners understand that clients are human too and as such, we all make mistakes. And, we know that emergencies will come up too. We are always willing to work together for a win-win and even give a free pass when it’s the right thing to do for an 80% type of client who encounters the rare urgency that prevents them from being able to make it in.”
