❤️ What an Incredible Day! Thank You from Tache Senior Services! ❤️

Our Third Annual Taché Senior Barbecue on Saturday was an amazing success, and our hearts are absolutely full. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this special day possible.

A very special thank you goes to the Rural Municipality of Taché for generously funding this event 100% this year. Your continued investment in our seniors and community means more than words can express.

To our incredible volunteers—Teresa, Adele, Lily, Hailey, Seth, Henry, Taleya and Darlene—thank you for your hard work, kindness, and dedication. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

A huge thank you to the Co-op team for having all of our supplies organized and ready to go. And an extra special thank you to Justice who not only loaded up my car but also gave me his contact information so I could simply text when we ran out of supplies. Knowing you had everything ready for us helped keep me calm while I was busy sending over 100 text messages letting everyone know our venue had changed. Your kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed.

Our heartfelt thanks to Alison Fox for opening the curling club for us on such short notice. Your flexibility, generosity, and willingness to help allowed us to quickly move indoors and made the day comfortable for everyone. We truly appreciate you.

Most importantly, thank you to every member of our 55+ community who came out to spend the day with us. You are the reason we do what we do, and seeing everyone laughing, visiting, and enjoying each other’s company made all the hard work worthwhile.

After this year’s experience, we’ve decided that next year’s barbecue will be held indoors. It was wonderful to beat the heat and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together in comfort.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event such a memorable success.

Message from Danèle regarding the upcoming service Canada pop-up service being offered at the Lorette curling rink.

I’m pleased to share that that there will be a Government Services Pop up Service Site in Lorette, July 29th. Representatives from Service Manitoba, Canada Revenue Agency and Service Canada will be present at the Lorette Curling Club from 9:30-3:30 to answer individuals’ questions about provincial and federal government programs and help filling out applications. Services will be available in English and in French. I have attached a poster that you can share in your networks. We would be very thankful if you could help us promoting the event in order to maximize our outreach. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like more information.
