There’s a new clarity, a new sharpness, and a deeper understanding of what it truly takes to build sustainably.
Today reminded me that vision grows stronger when structure grows deeper.
I’m excited for this journey — and even more excited for the leader I’m becoming through it. ✨

Breaking News | “Kill me if you want, but I will liberate this country by any means necessary,” - Issa Tchiroma Bakary
The toll from today’s violence outside the home of presidential candidate Issa Tchiroma Bakary (FSNC) has risen to two dead, Mr. Tchiroma announced in a forceful message blaming security forces for the attack.
He wrote that the assault involved point-blank shooting at civilians camping outside his residence and questioned whether the attackers were mercenaries, saying: “Shooting point-blank at your own brothers — I can’t help but wonder if you’re mercenaries.” He added, “Kill me if you want, but I will liberate this country by any means necessary,” and condemned the episode as blatant impunity.
The statement comes amid nationwide unrest after the controversial declaration of President Paul Biya as winner of the October 12 election, a result denounced by opposition parties and civil society. Authorities have not yet provided an official account of today’s events in Garoua.
Observers warn that such inflammatory language and the reported deaths risk further escalation, and international and domestic calls for de-escalation and an independent investigation are growing louder.
