What an incredible two-day training session!

I just completed intensive Financial Management training organized by Access Bank Cameroon Plc in partnership with IFC - International Finance Corporation as part of the program.

Being trained by an IFC-certified expert was truly transformative. We didn't just learn theory: we gained practical, tailored strategies to grow our businesses, particularly in financial management and planning.

Key Takeaways:
✨ How to read and leverage my financial statements
✨ Cash flow management strategies
✨ Financial planning for scaling
✨ Making data-driven business decisions

The best part? Walking away with not just knowledge, but a certificate and renewed confidence in building a financially strong business!

To all the organizers thank you for investing in women entrepreneurs. Programs like this don't just teach skills - they transform businesses and lives.

It was inspiring learning alongside other amazing entrepreneurs. Let's keep growing together! 💪🏾

Leveling up my digital game has been the greatest highlight 🤗

I attended an incredible Digital Marketing workshop organized by WE4A ( Women Entrepreneurship for Africa), delivered by the brilliant Mme Alida Mica Ebo'o and I walked away with tools that will transform how I run Crunchy Plantain.

What I mastered:
✨ Canva - creating visuals that stop the scroll
✨ Gamma - building a professional presentation made simple
✨ ChatGPT - writing smart prompts for efficient content creation
✨ Strategic planning - creating a 3-month content calendar

My biggest take is that digital media isn't optional anymore for an entrepreneur, for it is where customers are, and we need to show up strategically.

Massive gratitude to Mme Alida Mica Ebo'o for hands-on, practical training and to WE4A for investing in women entrepreneurs!

Growth requires continuous learning, and I am absolutely here for it!

Remember the first carbonization attempt I shared? Here's the final result! 💃🏽💃🏽

These charcoal briquettes are made from plantain peels - yesssss, the same peels we usually throw away!

Why this matters:
- Reduces food waste
- Provides affordable cooking fuel
- Burns cleaner than traditional charcoal
- Protects our forests (no tree-cutting needed!)
- Supports women's health (less smoke inhalation)

When I started making Crunchy Plantain chips, I did what everyone else did; I threw away the peels. It felt normal. That's just how it's done, right?
Then I attended a workshop on a circular economy, and one phrase stopped me in my tracks:
"Every waste is useful and can be repurposed."

I went home that day and stared at my pile of plantain peels differently. What I'd been calling waste was actually wealth waiting to be discovered.

That moment changed everything.
Today, I'm honored to be selected for Phase 2 of the -HerBeacon Community .
An initiative on:Mastering the Art of Digital Storytelling!
Phase 1 was life-changing. I learned to structure and manage my business strategically, but the real gift? Connecting with amazing women who are building and transforming Africa alongside me.

Now, let me tell you about Crunchy Plantain:
- At the heart of our business are our crispy, nutritious plantain chips, made from fresh, quality plantains and loved by families across Cameroon.

But we're not stopping there.
- We're also developing charcoal briquettes from those peels I used to throw away; turning waste into a clean, affordable energy source for families (coming soon!).

This is what drives me:
Building a business that thrives without harming the planet. Our chips nourish families today, and our briquettes will provide clean cooking energy tomorrow, all from the same plantain.
We're showing that:
✨ Sustainability and profitability work together
✨ Traditional cooking can be eco-friendly
✨ Young entrepreneurs can lead Africa's green future
✨ What we once threw away can become our greatest asset.
Every workshop, every lesson, every trial has brought me closer to this vision - a greener, wealthier Africa built by entrepreneurs like us.
Now I need YOUR support to unlock Phase 2!
