Oh how I love “The Moms”!!! I love their nervousness because they don’t ever get dolled up. I love the moments they get welled up with emotion thinking about their baby getting married. I love seeing their reaction in the mirror when they love their make-up. And I love, love, love that they trust me to help them feel amazing on this very special day.

I loooooove meeting all the moms and glamming them up.

Truth be told, it is usually the moms that are more nervous than the bride. Many of them never wear make-up and they’re nervous about getting it done and not feeling like themselves. I cannot tell you how much I love working with these women. Sometimes they leave my chair with not very much more than what they arrived with, and sometimes they decide to be brave and get natural lashes! But the point is I love for them to feel their most beautiful on this incredibly special day.

I love the time that I spend with the bride and her best girls getting them ready for the ceremony. I get to hear so many beautiful stories of the years of friendship that they’ve shared, the story of how the bride met the soon to be hubby, and for those few hours I’m with them. I feel just like one of the girls. 🤍

I find so much happiness in the moments I share with the wonderful women I work with. No matter what happens in their lives, they will never forget their wedding day! Getting to share this time with them, the last hour or so before they zip up their gown and walk out to exchange vows with their forever partner, it’s truly a magical life moment.
