Dead Ends - Berlin

Oh Berlin you Poor but Sexy Bitch.
Moved here as a 26 year old.
First time living away from Australia.
Married my love Jessica.
My Son Louie was born in our apartment.
Made life long friends.
Partied. A lot.
Had many visitors.
Rode many, many kilometres.
Survived gruelling Berlin winters.
Always got into Berghain.
Built my own business.
Watched (and helped) Jess grow her empire.
Worked on films.
Starred in a commercial.
Ate my own weight in falafel.
Learnt the importance of work/life balance.
Watched Liverpool play at Anfield.
Was in Germany when they won a World Cup.
Had many a cold Christmas
Saw Paul McCartney, Radiohead, The Stone Roses
Watched snow fall from my apartment windows.
Won a Table Tennis Doubles competition.
Drank plenty of Augustiners.
Owned a Campervan.
Somehow managed German bureaucracy.
Faked my way through many German conversations.
Spent many hours at Kinderspeilplatz.
Got to spend so much time with Louie.
Promoted the s**t outta Jess’ Cookbook.
Traveled to London, Barcelona, Valencia, Dijon, Amsterdam, Prague, Turkey, Copenhagen, New York, Morocco, Australia, New Zealand, London, Croatia, Poland, Barcelona, Mallorca, Portugal, Canary Islands, Crete, Rome & Liverpool.
Leaving as a 32 year old Husband/Father.

Dear Wonderful People of Berlin,
The time has come for me and my family to move back to the warmth and sunshine of Australia.
Living in this city since 2012 has been such an amazing experience and a lot has had to do with this amazing business here.
I am leaving the 9th of October so if you would like a cut before here are my working dates before I leave.
Or you could do a ‘Britney’ and just shave your head after I go ;)
