Beard Therapy
08/06/2026
I first started cutting Johannes’s hair, and after a while he asked if he could bring his son along too.
We don’t usually cut kids at Andes, but every now and then we make an exception.
The first few appointments, he barely said a word. Just sat quietly in the chair while his dad and I talked.
Over time, things changed. We started talking about music, hobbies, what he likes, what he doesn’t like, and how he wants his hair to look. Little by little, he became more comfortable and started showing more of his personality.
It’s a nice reminder that trust isn’t built in a single appointment. It happens over time.
And honestly, it’s one of my favourite parts of this job. Not just seeing a great haircut come together — the mullet, the texture, the personality behind it — but getting to be a small part of the routines and memories that fathers and sons create together.
Thanks for the beers too, Johannes! 🍻

More than just a beard trim.
Last week we had a photographer at the shop capturing the atmosphere behind our new Beard Therapy service.
The full video is on the way.
For now, some behind the scenes moments.
Your routine defines you.
Not the motivational quotes.
Not the plans.
Not the “next Monday”.
The small things you repeat every day shape the way you feel, think and move through life.
And in days like these, fast, loud, chaotic, having a routine becomes something bigger than discipline.
It becomes stability.
A good coffee in the morning.
Training.
A walk.
A haircut every couple of weeks.
Taking care of yourself even when life gets messy.
Because routine is not about perfection.
It’s about returning to yourself.
And today is Friday.
Reset a little.
Look good.
Slow down for an hour.
Start the weekend right.

Catch a bit of Nico’s work from last week 🙏🏼
1-2: Fringe placed with intention — to fix density, frame the face, and help receding hairline.
3: Ultimate texture work, wild but controlled scissor work and movement.
4: Martin vibing outside after his haircut.
5: Soft movement, the satisfaction of doing a precise graduation with scissors (only barbers will understand this one)
One of those Saturdays, busy chairs, good laughs, and a few good shots in the sun ☀️
Javi showing once again what he can do 🔥 even with Mercadona 🇪🇸 hair spray but with the flick comb 🇬🇧
