15 tips to take care of rebounded hair

1.Do not wet your hair for three days after the procedure. Yes, it means greasy hair and no swimming. The chemicals have to seep in and settle.

2.Do not tie your hair or put it on the back of your ears. The hair will be in a state where it acquires a shape.

3.When you sleep, make sure your hair is straight. You don’t want to wake up to weird shaped hair.

4.Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner after three days. Leave the conditioner on your hair for extra minutes.

5.Avoid usage of any heating tools. That means no blow drying too. If you are in a need of drying hair, then use the cool blast of air option.

6.Do not mess with your hair for at least six months – that means no hair coloring, no streaks, no highlighting. Your hair needs to relax after the high dose of straightening chemicals.

6.Have your hair trimmed on a regular basis. This
ensures your hair remains in top condition. Make sure there are no split ends. You don’t want it to travel up the length and deepen the damage.

7.Use cold water to wash your hair. Hot water will rob it of its moisture.

8.Make sure you wash away all the residue as anything left back will result in itching, hair fall and dandruff.

9.Use a wide toothed hair comb to separate the strands. Remove any tangles with great care. A wooden comb is preferable as plastic combs are known to create frizz due to static.

10.If your hair is not really greasy or oily, stay away from shampooing every day. You can try alternate days or try co-washing which means using conditioner as a shampoo and just rinsing it away.

11.Keep your hair safe from environmental factors – harsh sun rays, cold winds and the rains. Use a hat or an umbrella.

12.Apply a hair serum regularly. This creates a barrier between your hair and the outside and helps protect it better.

13.Use a leave in conditioner. This helps in retaining the moisture and keeps dryness and frizz away.

13.Use hair masks frequently or get hair spas done. Your hair needs moisture and nutrition.

14.In case you wet your hair due to rain, wash your hair like a regular wash as soon as possible. The salts and pollutants from rain water are highly damaging.

15.Follow a nutritious diet. A good diet consists of nuts, cashews, almonds and lots of fruits and vegetables. These are known to promote healthy hair.

Penyelesaian muadah mengatasi rambut berbuah... tanpa kos yg tinggi

1. Trim rambut setiap beberapa bulan
2. Jaga dgn baik. Cara menjaga:

To keep your hair healthy, it is important to use the right tools to groom it.

When to comb
*When hair is wet, always use a comb to remove knots and tangles. Brushing wet hair can cause breakage and other damage to the hair shafts, so always do your detangling with a comb.
*A comb is also useful on dry hair for smoothing and detangling. If hair has knots in it, it is advisable to use a comb to smooth it before brushing.
*Since a comb has only one row of teeth instead of multiple bristles like a brush, it provides better control and does not pull as much on the hair when it encounters a tangle.Once the tangles are removed, use a brush to create style, shine and volume.

When to brush
*Once tangles are removed from straight or wavy hair, a brush is usually the tool of choice for styling and smoothing hair. Dry and untangled hair can be gently brushed at any time. Wet hair may be brushed as part of the styling process.
*A flat "paddle" brush is useful for smoothing long, thick or coarse hair.
*Round brushes can be used to add volume and body to fine or limp hair. They may also be used to add curl to medium length or long hair.
*For short hair or hair with a blunt style, a vented brush is helpful when blow drying since it helps the hair to dry quickly.

10 SPRING HAIR TRENDS 2012 05/04/2012

In a season defined by minimalism and natural beauty, hairstylists channeled easy elegance for spring. The sporting life was a pop**ar theme with styles that looked fresh from the ocean or outdoors, and classic American glamour had a big moment with polished ponytails, graceful braids, and bouncy blowouts. Still, nothing was too perfect or impeccable—deconstructed waves and undone knots and twists proved that having a bit of an edge is as chic as ever.

TOP 10 SPLIT END BUSTER
1) Move Your Mane
If your hair is long enough to get caught under coat collars or under shoulder straps (for Messenger bags, back pack, etc) then be sure to move your hair before putting on that bag.

2) Keep Air off Your Hair
Does your hair whip in the wind? Wind knots up hair. Knots damage length. Damaged length causes more splits. Eventually the damaged length splits. Restrain your hair when you are going to be in a lot of wind.

3) Wash Warily
Only apply shampoo to roots where it needs it. Avoid washing the dried out ends.

4) Be Picky About Piling Hair On Top
Do you pile your hair on top of your head when you shampoo? This creates MANY opportunities for splits. Shampoo really only needs to be applied to your roots. That’s where the grease/oil is. Personally, I condition the length of my hair, apply shampoo to my scalp (down to ears), rinse, then apply conditioner again, rinse. This is called CWC (Condition Wash Condition). All the while, the length of my hair just hangs down my back.

5) Towel Drying is Treacherous
When you dry your hair, do you scrub your scalp with a towel? It feels great, but it will rip, strip, pop, snap and fry your hair in no time! Many of us use some sort of a turbie type towel/turban for drying our hair. Others put a towel on their back and let the hair drip onto the towel.

6) Blow Off Blow Drying
Do you blow dry your hair? The heat and the wind created by the blowfryer (no that isn’t a typo) really damages hair, too. Any heat styling tool can potentially damage hair. If you feel you must use them, keep the temperature low and exposure time to your hair short.

7) Subdue Your Shampoo
How often do you shampoo? Regardless of HOW you shampoo, how OFTEN do you do it? Many of us have found that 2-3 shampooings per week is sufficient. It takes a few weeks to train your scalp to have fewer washings, but it helps protect the ends. Not everyone has success with fewer shampooings, though.

8)Condition, condition, condition
Do you use conditioner or a cream rinse when you shampoo? My personal belief is, if you want long hair you need to condition it EVERY time you shampoo. If nothing else, it helps detangle my hair. You also might consider using a leave in conditioner, especially one that helps detangle (and gives slip).

9) Oil Often
You can oil the length of your hair daily. Many long hairs do this. They put a small drop in the palm of their hand, rub their hands together and lightly apply the oil to the ends only of the hair. There is an abundance of oils that you can use, some are quite exotic. Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is probably the most common, but there is a long list of oils everyone has tried and ones that each person likes/doesn`t like.

10) Consider Combing Cautiously
After you’ve shampooed, when/how do you brush/comb your hair? Generally, brushing wet hair is bad for the hair. Hair is most delicate when wet. Brushing tends to stretch the strands. Stretching the strands puts wear and tear, which causes damage, which causes splits.
