So you exfoliated too hard or picked your skin and now it’s suffering from inflammation. Don’t panic, it happens to everyone. But what do you do?

🔸 Stop exfoliating. Your skin barrier is compromised and needs time to heal itself
🔸 Although actives are amazing for the skin, when it’s been sensitised it can lead to more discomfort and inflammation. That means no retinols, no vitamin C, and no acids!
🔸 Sun exposure is more likely to lead to permanent damage during inflammation. Protect your skin from all hazards, including environmental ones.
🔸 Unless they’ve been recently washed, our hands accumulate bacteria throughout the day and we don’t want to add them on top of already weakened skin. It can worsen your skin and lead to infection.
🔸Lastly, minimise your skincare routine! A cleanser, moisturiser and SPF are all you need. Other products can overstimulate the skin and cause further inflammation. Go back to the basics.

⚡️High Frequency Facial⚡️

High Frequency works by using a glass high frequency electrode to treat contours of the face, scalp and body. When applied on the skin, a mild electrical current passes through the neon or argon gas filled electrode, causing it to emit a subtle glow and a buzzing noise.
