Y no es casualidad.

Su disciplina en el postoperatorio fue ejemplar. Se cuidó incluso más de lo que yo le pedí, y continúa haciéndolo a día de hoy.

Siempre digo que la cirugía es solo una parte del proceso. La forma en que una paciente se cuida después también influye en el resultado final.

Pedrona ya estaba espectacular a los siete días.

Deportista, con un estilo de vida muy saludable y una sonrisa que ilumina cualquier habitación, su resultado refleja exactamente lo que buscamos: una nariz natural, elegante y en armonía con el resto del rostro.

Hay casos que exigen mucho más que una cirugía.

Sara partía de una nariz especialmente compleja: una cirugía previa, restos de ácido hialurónico, una retracción alar importante y una piel gruesa y difícil de manejar.

Antes de entrar en quirófano, hicimos un trabajo previo de disolución del relleno, tratamiento de la piel y, sobre todo, muchas conversaciones para alinear expectativas realistas.

Sabíamos que no era un caso sencillo.

Cuatro días después de la cirugía me envió una foto. Esperaba una inflamación importante y muchos hematomas. Pero ya entonces intuíamos que algo iba muy bien.

Y cuando retiramos los puntos, las dos nos emocionamos.

Porque más allá de la nariz, lo que cambió fue su expresión.

Durante años, esa nariz endurecía sus rasgos y le daba un aspecto artificial que no reflejaba quién era realmente. Hoy su rostro se ve más armónico, más suave y más auténtico.

Todavía queda un trabajo importante de cuidado de la piel y paciencia durante el proceso de recuperación.

Pero lo esencial ya está ahí.

Volver a mirarse al espejo y reconocerse.

After years of feeling that her nose drew attention for the wrong reasons, Sara can finally see herself again.

Some cases require far more than surgery.

Sara came to me with a particularly challenging nose: previous rhinoplasty, residual hyaluronic acid filler, significant alar retraction, and thick, difficult skin.

Before surgery, we dissolved the filler, improved the skin quality, and spent time setting realistic expectations.

When we removed the stitches, we both became emotional.

Because beyond the nose itself, what truly changed was her expression.

Today, her face looks softer, more harmonious, and more authentic.

The healing process continues, but the most important part is already there.

She looks in the mirror and recognizes herself.

Salir en la revista EUROPA de Air Europa es una de esas cosas que todavía siento un poco irreales. Y quizás justamente porque hoy en día se consume todo tan rápido, me hace especial ilusión formar parte de una revista que la gente realmente se detiene a leer.
Hay algo muy bonito en abrir una revista en pleno vuelo, entre trayectos, tiempo suspendido y ventanas sobre las nubes.

Me siento muy afortunada de estar ahí. Muy agradecida por el espacio, por la confianza y por todo lo que hay detrás de estos años de trabajo.

Y también por haber podido hacerlo rodeada de gente con tantísimo talento.

Still processing this, somehow

Being featured in Air Europa’s EUROPA magazine feels like one of those things that still doesn’t fully sink in. Especially today, when everything moves so fast, it means a lot to be part of a magazine people actually take the time to read.
There’s something beautiful about opening a magazine mid-flight, somewhere between destinations, suspended in the air.

Feeling deeply grateful for the opportunity, the trust, and everything behind these years of work.

And also very lucky to have shared this with such talented people.

Llevaba tiempo guardando esto..

El viernes volaba a Bilbao y pensé:
puede que todavía no salga, siga la edición de abril, porque acaba de empezar el mes.

Abrí la revista casi sin pensar…
y de repente, ahí estaba.

Adrenalina! Emoción!

Cuando me llamaron para ofrecerme aparecer en la edición de mayo, sí, impresiona.
Pero no tanto por salir, sino por lo que implica.

También por lo inesperado:
mi forma de comunicar siempre ha sido bastante íntima, poco mainstream, y que un espacio así se fije en un lenguaje tan propio…
tiene algo especial.

Porque esto no empieza aquí.

Empieza hace años.
En una idea que he ido construyendo en silencio, afinando una manera de trabajar muy personal.
Una forma de entender la rinoplastia desde la observación,
desde el equilibrio, desde el respeto por cada rostro.

15 años dándole forma en mi cabeza. 6 en marcha.

Y esto no es un tropiezo.
Es un paso más.

Hay cosas que no se fuerzan.
Simplemente ocurren.
Y un día, encajan.

Este mes, en el aire.

I’ve been holding onto this for a while.

On Friday, I was flying to Bilbao and thought:
maybe it’s not out yet.
Maybe it’s still the April issue, since the month had just started.

I opened the magazine without thinking…
and suddenly, there it was.

Adrenaline.
Excitement.

When they reached out to feature me in the May issue, yes — it’s impactful.
But not so much because of the feature itself,
rather because of what it represents.

Also because it was unexpected:
my way of communicating has always been quite intimate, not mainstream,
and for a space like this to notice something so personal…
means something different.

Because this doesn’t start here.

It started years ago.
With an idea I’ve been shaping quietly, refining a very personal way of working.
A way of approaching rhinoplasty rooted in observation,
in balance, in respect for each face.

15 years in mind. 6 in motion.

This isn’t a coincidence.
It’s a step forward.

Some things can’t be forced.
They simply happen.
And one day, they fall into place.
