🧠🔬 Glass-ceramic implants in cranial surgery? Yes — and with remarkable results.
This study published in J Mater Sci Mater Med evaluated Bioverit® implants combined with calcium phosphate cements in a rabbit cranial defect model.

📍 Key Findings:
👉 Both hydroxyapatite and brush*te cements showed strong osteoconductive properties.
👉 BoneSource® (hydroxyapatite) cement led to better osseointegration and less connective tissue invasion.
👉 Bioverit® implants fixed with BoneSource® achieved full integration with newly formed bone.

🔬 Did you know BIOVERIT® was already proving its bioactivity and biocompatibility back in 1992?

A comparative animal study published in Klin Monbl Augenheilkd evaluated two new enucleation prostheses made of BIOVERIT I & II in rabbits. The ceramic materials were implanted for up to 13 months and demonstrated excellent adaptation, with 26 out of 28 implants showing strong integration with the surrounding tissue.

Una revisión sistemática y metaanálisis evalúa el desempeño clínico y radiográfico a medio plazo de los implantes dentales de zirconia.

Resultados clave:
• Tasa de supervivencia: 97,2%
• Pérdida ósea marginal: 1,1 mm
• Profundidad al sondaje: 3,0 mm

We are thrilled to share highlights from our first day at IDS 2025 in Hall 2.2, Booth D021, where we unveiled the Meridian® implant, crafted from the cutting-edge BIOVERIT® ceramic material.

A heartfelt thank you to all the friends and professionals who visited us to explore this innovative concept. Special appreciation to Dr. Igor Dogocki from Bioclinic.eu and the developer of Steinsohn Ceramics, for demonstrating the potential of drill-free surgery using specialized tips from Magnet Mallet by Oseotouch, as well as the new surgical kit featuring zirconium drills with internal metal bodies designed for optimal temperature dissipation.

We were also honored by the presence of Philippe De Moyer, founder and CEO of 2INGIS®, who showcased the capabilities of their surgical guides in conjunction with the Meridian® implant. This collaboration offers an exceptional solution through its zero-contamination concept and enhanced visualization.

Additionally, we are immensely impressed by the team at VERDENT, our esteemed partner from Poland.
