Drinking at least two liters of water a day will help the strength of your hair, increasing growth. Dehydration immediately halts hair growth. As previously stated, our hair needs moisture (preferably soft water for your hair). When it doesn't have the moisture it needs, your hair ends will split or become brittle. All that is fine and good.
Now the $500, 000 question is how healthy is the water around these parts?
Most people say that if you live in Seville City the water is undrinkable and folks opt for bottled water. Outside of the city, in the suburbs, the water seems to be a bit softer with less calcium and lime. How is everyone dealing with the water? I know that you can't really do much when you're washing your hair and this definitely alters wash days and treatments. The water here for me dries my hair out and that is definitely counteractive to what I'm trying to promote. I have 4C textured hair, and for years my go-to styles have been braids and sew-ins because the option of leaving my hair out resulted in a Brillo pad.
