Most Home Warranties cost between $50-$75 monthly, plus service calls. Why not set up a savings account for home warranty and choose repairmen of your choice. Think about it. If I haven't used the home warranty service in a year, they pocket the money. However, if I save let's say $58 plus service fee $30 a year, it's my money in my savings account This is simply taking back control of your own money and not held hostage or giving a company control of what's actually yours. Think about it!

Recently I had the privilege of organizing a client. We worked together for two days, sorting, discarding useless items, papers, and arranging furniture. Finally, the end results… a beautiful, functional organized office. The client was so amazed at the outcome that she wept.

After two weeks, the follow-up contact was made. To my amazement, the client stated after a few days, she went into a depression. She was unable to explain why and unable to work in her office. With much encouragement, I reminded her of the great accomplishments made and to continue to move forward.For several days, I was pondering the question, “why one would become depressed after becoming organized?” The revelation came! Sometimes as individuals, we grow to be accustomed to a certain way of life, whether it is good or bad. Was this client so accustomed to working in chaos that she was not able to function in orderliness? Is it one's mindset? To that, I have to say yes.

This happened personally, regarding my body. Being overweight for years was a way of life. Finally, fifty pounds were lost. Wow, what a major shift. The sad part, I still saw myself fat. After months of encouragement from others, and purchasing outfits that complimented my new body a shift in me took place.What does that have to do with becoming organized? Take time for meditation for a renewed mind, once the chaos, and clutter is removed. Recognize that becoming organized is liberty. You have come out of the prison of pandemonium, into a life of freedom, to save time and money. Old patterns can be broken, by starting first with vision. Afterwards make vision a reality.

Welcome to my world, where any mess can become flawless. .. Never seeing the disarray but seeing the results, a place for everything and everything has a place.

How much time is spent looking for items...keys, shoes, etc? Time really is valuable and a lot of it is spent carelessly when items does not have a home. For example, place keys in a designated place daily. When it is the occasion to use them, you know exactly where to go. Less stress, time saved.

Holidays are over, now it is time to pack all the decorations away...one of the best ways is in storage containers. Wrapping paper can be placed in tall storage totes that can hold up to 40 rolls. Place wreaths, Christmas balls, garland, lights etc in clear containers with lids. A clear container usually works better because items are seen without opening... color containers should be labeled. Using containers helps storing items easier and stacking those uses less space.

Holiday baking...When making cookies or cupcakes all the same size, use an ice cream scope to measure out the batter.

In this day of recycling, consider taking old holiday cards (which a lot of you save), cut off the front use as decorations on your gift using some simple ribbon as well

Recently went through major transition regarding business...which isn't easy. Now I can see clearly now the rain has gone. Mostly my tears. Had to eliminate the clutter (confusion) in my mind. Back in the saddle, and standing tall. Word for today... stay with your passion, all other is simply clutter that must be eradicated!
