At L’Entropiste, fragrance emerges from contrast. Master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour composes through tension — between light and texture, transparency and depth, freshness and softness. An intuitive vision where imbalance becomes harmony.

White Blood embodies this approach through a luminous white floral in constant transformation. A living, radiant material where the flower is felt as texture rather than representation.

The fragrance opens with sparkling bergamot and vibrant blackcurrant, revealing green, tangy nuances. At its heart, delicate rose intertwines with soft raspberry, bringing both clarity and sensual depth to the floral composition. The street takes its name from Louis Petit de Bachaumont, an 18th-century Parisian writer and art critic who hosted one of the city’s most celebrated salons — a place where curiosity ruled, where taste, art and literature were debated freely, far from the conformism of his time.

At number 20 of that same street, since 2012, something of that spirit has found a new home.

Born from a dialogue between haute parfumerie and haute couture, the collection explores a shared language of matter, gesture, and form — where creation creation becomes craft, and craft becomes expression.

Signed by perfumer Jordi Fernandez, it unfolds in three Absolus de Parfum: Stellar Silk, Oud Paradisio, Silver Ceremony. Three distinct interpretations of iconic woody materials — sandalwood, oud, cedar — reworked in a contemporary vocabulary and housed in a pure, architectural flacon.

Stellar Silk wraps sandalwood in a soft, luminous texture. Oud Paradisio contrasts fruity brightness with deep woody density. Silver Ceremony elevates cedar into a sharp, vertical expression of light and tension.

Unlike rose or jasmine, strawberry yields no essential oil. It cannot be distilled or extracted. Every strawberry note in perfumery is a pure act of reinvention — constructed molecule by molecule from esters, lactones and aldehydes to evoke the fruit without ever touching it. This is precisely what makes it so difficult, and so fascinating, to master.

The result is never one thing. Fresh and slightly tart. Rich and jammy. Green and herbaceous, closer to the leaf than the berry. Most often a top note — arriving first, bright and immediate — but in the right hands, it descends, deepens, and becomes something else entirely.

Milky and sensual in Miami Shake. Dark and forbidden in Holy Berry, where it meets rose and oud. Delicate and floral in Bouquet de Hongrie. Spiced and smoldering in Venom Incarnat, deepened by cinnamon, caramel and leather. Sparkling and tart in Spiky Muse, sharpened by rhubarb.
