JUST IN! A new report from our partners at showed that voter turnout rate in 2020 increased by 28% points from 2016! Great work to all of our volunteers and partners who helped turn out the ! ,

A huge thanks and congrats to everyone who helped with our End Oil Drilling Table today. We educated over 100 students on the issue and collected over 60 photo petitions, calling on our leaders to take action! Our tent had pictures, posters, and props and music to make it fun and engaging! We also wore black to have a unified look! Here’s some highlights from the day!

We are working on some big projects this year. We are working to get our state leaders to commit EVERY part of our economy- buildings, transportation, and electricity to run on 100% clean energy to fight climate change! We're also working to reduce plastic pollution in our community and register hundreds of students on campus to vote.

We’ve been doing our recruitment drive these past two weeks because the more people helping us on these campaigns the bigger difference we can make! We signed up a list of over 800 people who want more information about getting involved! So, we are going to call all those people and invite them to the big kick off meeting we are having Wednesday and hoping to get 70 people there to launch off our campaigns!  Senator John Laird, who represents the UCSC district is confirmed to speak!

In order to do everything from making textbooks more affordable, to saving the bees, to committing to 100% renewables it'll take a lot of people, so friends are welcome as well!

Welcome back Slugs! Today we are holding our first 100% Clean Energy Campaign meeting of the quarter! We are so excited to see some of you there and kick off this very exciting quarter ahead of us.
We all know that the effects of Climate Change are getting worse, not only in California but around the world. Its clear that we have to make a change if we are going to save our planet. That is why we are leading our 100% Clean Energy Campaign to break away from dirty energy sources and move to 100% clean energy such as solar and wind. Our generation is the last who will be able to solve or reverse this problem in any way. Come out today to hear more and be apart of this change!

We are bringing the gang all back together and inviting you to our leadership meeting tomorrow night from 6-7! It’s super important that we get everyone to tomorrow’s meeting so we can go over our Recruitment Drive plans and sign-up for volunteers needed to win our campaigns!
