Lately I’ve been reflecting on transitional seasons.

The moments between what was and what will be.

They are often uncomfortable because nothing feels fully settled yet.

The old chapter is no longer ours.
The new one has not fully arrived.

We want answers.
Clarity.
Momentum.

Yet the body often asks for something different.

Rest.
Trust.
Space.

One of the greatest wellness practices I know is learning not to rush the transition.

To continue showing up.
To continue tending to ourselves.
To continue watering the seeds before we can see the garden.

If you’re navigating a season of change, perhaps the invitation isn’t to force the next chapter.

Perhaps it’s simply to create enough space for it to emerge.

You can be exhausted and still high-functioning.
I am in a current situation where time is never enough and exhaustion is building up - even resting gets disrupted by sudden cortisol spikes.

I am aware and with the end in sight, I know how to create pocket moments to restore.

However it can be more subtle. Many people don’t realise they’re dysregulated because stress has become their normal state.

The nervous system was never designed to operate in constant performance mode.

Sometimes the hardest thing is not doing more —
but allowing the body to recover without guilt.

Wellbeing is not something we practice once life becomes calm.
It’s something we practice while life keeps moving.

This is why I’ll be guiding a Rituel de relaxation profonde
in collaboration with Prestesse at La Fondation in Paris in June - just before we shift into the summer season.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much the body holds —
often without us realising.

Tension.
Mental load.
Unprocessed emotion.

We keep moving, adapting, responding…
but rarely pause long enough for the system to fully reset.

This is why I’ve been creating spaces like this.

Not to do more —
but to allow the body to soften,
and return to a more natural state of balance.

Since turning 50 this month, I’ve been reflecting a lot on the way we speak about age.

People often tell me:

“You don’t look your age.”

And while it’s meant as a compliment, I’ve realised over time that what people are often sensing is not

youth —

but energy.

Presence.

Resilience.

A certain relationship to life.

Because age is never just a number.

It’s also a mindset.

And that mindset quietly shapes the way we move through life:

how we care for ourselves,

what we tolerate,

how we respond to change,

and where our energy goes each day.

This is one of the deepest reasons The Abi Method exists.

Not to fix people.
But to support us through transition, stress, reinvention, motherhood - change.

The body remembers every season we survive through.

The seasons we held everything together.
The seasons we adapted.
The seasons we rebuilt quietly while life kept moving around us.

Over time, the body carries all of it:
the tension,
the grief,
the resilience,
the becoming.

This is one of the deepest reasons The Abi Method exists.

Not to fix people.
But to create spaces where the body no longer has to brace quite so hard.

Through breath.
Through rhythm.
Through ritual.
Through learning how to feel safe enough to soften again.

but for recognition.

Of everything that has been lived,
held,
transformed,
and carried forward.

This past year has reminded me of something essential:

that life doesn’t move in straight lines.

It shifts, asks, reshapes, and sometimes brings us back
to rebuild from a deeper place.

And maybe that’s what this moment represents most for me:

not arriving somewhere —
but standing more fully in who I am.

In the work I hold.
In the way I live.
In what I choose to create next.
