For those of you who know, we sadly said goodbye to our gorgeous boy Hamish a little while ago 💙 He was the gentlest soul and simply the best boy. At 16, he slipped away peacefully after a wonderful life.

A puppy was definitely not in our initial plans… but clearly we thought we weren’t quite busy enough 😝 So here we are — meet Tilly! 💕

Total coincidence that she and Hamish share their colour… or maybe he had a little paw in sending her our way 🐾💫

Sad but true….I am no corporate expert and it’s not black and white so can only speak as I have met or experienced over the last 35 years as a small business person.
Businesses, whether large or small would rather pay higher wages but business charges and tax make it impossible to survive if they do 😞 next time you pay for a service consider this 🤗

Profit margins in the uk

Excellent 20%-25%
Average 10%
Poor 5%

In these hard times, 5% or less is not unsual

That means if you pay £100 for something …..that’s £5 profit 😳

Is it a wonder small business are going under 🤷‍♀️🤗

One day all businesses will realise it's only the banks that profit from card payments.
Once they get rid of cash they will charge the businesses even more percentage for taking card payments.
Time to wake up businesses.
