finally tackling my content backlog thought I’d start off strong with this set I did for Carrie a while ago now. Still obsessed😍

Tonight is going to be a long one 🥲 but with my little apprentice is here helping me along the way so it’s going to be fun or stressful but regardless itll be sooo worth it! All will be revealed in due course!

Also, I would just like to say a massive Thank You to absolutely everybody who supported me on my last post.

It took at least a month to have the courage to put something so private on here for the world to see however I was totally taken aback emotionally at just how much positive responses and feedback I had received.

My appointment have picked up purely by putting myself out there again which is exactly what i’d hoped for. When I’m in the zone doing lashes it’s about the only time during the day that I’m in my calmest state so really, from the bottom of my heart, Thank you to everyone who has shown their continued support- You dont and probably wont ever know just how much it means🥲❤️‍🩹!

I can’t wait to show you what I have next in store 🫶🏼 And so the packing begins!… it’ll all be worth it in the end (I Hope 😂!!)

Hi all! My name is Ashleigh, I’m a beautician based in Aberdeen, Scotland, with 15 years of experience, including 10 years as a self-employed Lash and Brow Technician working from home.

For those that know me, I’m usually an oversharer and an open book! But for the past while, I’ve struggled with symptoms that made me slow down and ultimately stop advertising my work altogether. I was unsure what was happening and faced an extensive list of challenges while trying to maintain a normal life. Invisible disabilities are real, and it’s been difficult and embarassing to explain my situation to others. Eventually, I ended up secluding myself from the world a bit until I could get help and treatment. I’m currently waiting for a diagnosis of FND - Functional Neurological Disorder, and I’ll share more about this throughout my journey. Thankfully, since getting help my symptoms have become much more manageable.

The past year has been the hardest financially since I became of working age, I’ve had to rely on Universal Credit and disability benefits. Making ends meet has been a struggle, and fun money has felt out of reach for far too long. I owe it to my daughter to provide her a good life when she’s with me, and I don’t want her to see her mum give up. Not working has been horrible, and I’ve hated every minute of it.

As I start again from scratch, my approach is changing - I’ll be taking only a few clients each day and im committed to keeping my prices as low as possible this year, so I can regain clients & pamper you without breaking the bank —especially single mums, I’ve got you!
I’ll also have selected appointment days and times that I’ll stick to, along with a deposit system and cancellation fees, allowing me to run my business as professionally as I possibly can do.

The goal is to create a happy, and carefree atmosphere that feels like a relaxed space for everyone. I’m excited to reconnect with past clients and welcome new ones. If you’ve visited me before, I’d love to see you again. If you’re new to my services, I hope you’ll consider me for your lash/brow needs.
