Here’s what actually matters.
The concern is not licensed anti-wrinkle treatments used appropriately within legitimate prescribing frameworks. The concern is suspected counterfeit and illegally imported products entering the industry without proper regulation, traceability or oversight.
When considering any aesthetic treatment, you should feel comfortable asking:
• What product is being used?
• Is it UK sourced and traceable?
• Who prescribed it?
• What happens if you need aftercare or support?
At Aesthete Associates, treatments are assessment-led, products are sourced through verified UK suppliers, and patient safety is part of every consultation — not an afterthought.
Aesthetics should never feel rushed, secretive or unclear.
Pigmentation?
These images were taken two weeks apart following one treatment session and shared with full client consent.
Not all pigmentation sits at the same depth within the skin, which is why precision matters. For this treatment, I used very superficial microneedling with to create controlled microchannels and improve uptake of the exosome serum whilst minimising unnecessary inflammation.
Depth control is incredibly important when treating pigment safely, overly aggressive treatment can worsen post-inflammatory pigmentation rather than improve it.
SPF and aftercare also play a huge role in results, especially in the first few weeks following treatment.
Early improvement already visible in overall tone and clarity after one session.
Regulated. Evidence-based. Precise. Follow for the journey.
Microneedling FAQ ⬇️
“What actually determines microneedling results?”
Precision.
Microneedling works by creating controlled microchannels within the skin, stimulating a wound-healing response and collagen remodelling over time. Treatment outcomes are influenced not simply by “needling”, but by the quality of the device, needle consistency, treatment depth, practitioner technique and the products delivered into the skin.
At Aesthete Associates, treatments are performed using the 1need Pro system, a professional microneedling device designed for controlled depth precision, treatment consistency and clinical safety standards.
“What is being applied into the skin during treatment?”
This matters significantly.
Immediately following microneedling, the skin barrier becomes temporarily more permeable. Products selected during treatment should therefore be sterile, evidence-led and specifically chosen for transdermal application and skin compatibility.
Not every serum is suitable for professional microneedling protocols.
“Why is aftercare important?”
Following treatment, the skin enters a highly active repair phase. Excessive heat, intense exercise, active skincare ingredients, UV exposure and inappropriate products can disrupt healing pathways, increase inflammation and compromise skin integrity.
Good microneedling should support regeneration in a controlled and intentional way — not create unnecessary trauma.
“How many sessions are recommended?”
Collagen remodelling occurs gradually over time. Most patients require a tailored course of treatments depending on skin quality, inflammation, scarring, pigmentation and individual treatment goals.
Assessment-led care will always outperform aggressive, standardised treatment approaches.
0/10… would not recommend 👀
Not because treatments are essential… but because the difference consistency makes is undeniable.
When you stop:
• Skin turnover slows
• Collagen stimulation drops
• Hydration + barrier support dips
• And everything just looks a little… flatter
The part most people miss?
It’s not just in-clinic treatments — it’s the consistency between them.
Good skin isn’t built in one appointment.
It’s built in the boring bits:
SPF. Homecare. Repetition. Maintenance.
Treatments elevate.
Homecare sustains.
Consistency is what actually changes your skin.
If you’ve fallen off (it happens), this is your sign to get back on track. Strategically, not impulsively.
DM “PLAN” if you want a proper, assessment-led approach to your skin.

3 weeks. One treatment.
This is the power of treating the skin properly, not aggressively.
If you’re dealing with redness, breakouts or uneven texture, your plan should be tailored…not guessed.
Start with an assessment.
We’ll build the rest from there. What concerns you most about your skin?
Your skin doesn’t just “age”, it changes how it functions.
Less collagen. Slower repair. Thinner, less resilient tissue.
That’s why at a certain point…
topicals alone stop giving you the result you want.
PRP is where we shift from “treating the surface”
to actually improving how your skin behaves.
Using your own growth factors to stimulate repair, strengthen the dermis, and improve overall skin quality. not just temporarily, but over time.
This is exactly how I approach treatments in clinic:
assessment-led, regenerative, and tailored to what your skin actually needs.
Not more. Just better.

If you’ve been feeling like your skin just isn’t responding the way it used to… this is usually where we start.
Acne-prone, textured skin needs balance, not just “hydration”.
A moisturiser should support the barrier without congestion, sit well alongside actives, and be easy to stay consistent with.
Most don’t.
This one I’ve finished… and repurchased. If you struggle to find a moisturiser that actually works with your skin, this is exactly what we work through in clinic.
Hydration but where it counts.
Skin that reflects light well isn’t always about products.
Sometimes it’s about how the skin is functioning beneath the surface.
Baby Glow is designed to improve hydration within the skin itself, refining texture, softness and overall quality.
Subtle. Intentional. Effective.
Now available at Aesthete Associates.
Most people don’t realise this until it’s too late. People often think good aesthetic work is about adding more.
It isn’t.
The best outcomes are usually the ones you can’t quite put your finger on.
Fresher, healthier, more rested… just better.
That comes from assessment, restraint, and understanding what actually needs treating.
Not just reaching for more filler.
