Suns out, balayage is in! 🌼☀️🍦

📍I’m backkkk! • I haven’t posted in a while since moving back from Glasgow to Aberdeen in September. I have been working really hard and putting in a lot of hours in my new Salon, 📌Saks Aberdeen Union Square . This is a small collection of my work in which I’m very proud of and to see how far I’ve come and progressed within my hairdressing skill. Thankful for all the clientele I have gained since moving back that have supported and continued to book in with me. So thank you ♥️💇🏼‍♀️. Still lots to learn and confidence to gain but I’m getting there.

🔥 ~ My Wella Xposure entry that got me through to the 2nd round but unfortunately I didn’t continue with the competition due to personal choice. The experience was amazing for my confidence, skill and knowledge! My model was also so patient and lovely the whole day and night that it took to create a cut, colour, make-up and professional photos. SLC has given me access to amazing opportunities and I’m so thankful!

🔥 ~ Colour correction dark to light stage 1. This client has very dark hair & would like to achieve a higher up balayage effect with a grey tone as an end result. Today I gradually took the balayage up higher & toned. This is a healthy way to take hair from dark to light. People do not go blonde like Kim K over night, it’s unrealistic and damaging! Stage 2 we will add baby lights at the front of the clients hair & continue to move the lighter colour up the hair & blend more. Today once the colour was shampoo’d I carried out a Wellaplex treatment to help stabilise the clients hair condition. I then trimmed the ends of the hair & added in bangs at the front of the face at my clients request. ✂️❤️🎉
