“Just wow… 7 years. I can’t quite describe how I feel right now. When I opened Tommy Brooks Hairdressing, it wasn’t just about opening a salon — it was about building a brand. A brand built on honesty, integrity, and a LOT of hard work, determination… and probably caffeine.

I sometimes think back to the whispers in 2019 — ‘it’ll never work, he’s too young.’
Not in a negative way… more in a quietly smug, hair-flicking kind of way.

There are so many people to thank. My parents, for supporting my career choice (and putting up with me turning the house into a training salon at 15, complete with tin foil everywhere). My friends, for bravely volunteering as practice models — you deserved hazard pay.

for incredible training and opportunities. Two amazing women who’ve supported me massively in business — from and .52 from — thank you for guiding me and helping me through some really tough times.

To all my staff, past and present — there’s been laughter, tears, the occasional tantrum… but we always got through it (just about 😅).

And finally, the most important people — our clients. Most of you reading this are part of that. Thank you. You haven’t just supported the business — many of you have become friends and supported me personally too. That means everything.

I’ll forever be grateful for the memories, the relationships, and everything we’ve built together.
