Reintroducing myself because there are lots of new faces here lately ❤️

I’m Sophie, the face behind Sophie Tinsley Hairdressing, Barbering & Training.

My Studio is situated inside Hafod y Parc building in Abergele, North Wales.

I have been in the Hairdressing industry for approximately 17 years which all began with 6 days a week full on training as an apprentice in a well known salon.

I had the privilege of intense learning from around 10 incredibly talented hairstylists, each with their own techniques, standards and creativity — and I truly believe that experience shaped me into the stylist I am today, which is why I specialise in just about everything 😉😆

Over the years gaining more knowledge working in city salons and barbershops shaping my standards and professionalism.

I’ve even had the experience of working onboard The Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship as a barber — something that allowed me to work with people from all over the world while developing my skills within luxury mens grooming and client care.

I have constantly thrown myself into courses and education and because of this, alongside working behind the chair, I’m also degree qualified to educate and train others and have worked within local colleges over the years helping the next generation of hairstylists build their confidence and skills within the industry.

I quite often get nominated for Awards. Last year I was awarded Winner of Best Wedding Hairstylist in North Wales at The Welsh National Wedding Awards and this year i am a Finalist in The UK Hair and Beauty Awards.

I offer all hair services with a strong focus on client experience, from precision cuts and styling, advanced colouring to traditional Italian-inspired grooming rituals.
