We will always do our upmost to accommodate but unfortunately once they’re gone, they’re gone.

I know a lot of clients has become concerned about how much I have been working.
I also realise that I actually am doing too much.

With this in mind, I will be reducing the salons hours.

Unfortunately I have started struggling with repetitive strain injury in my right hand, which will effect my career completely if I don’t slow down now, so to avoid any effects of my future in this industry I will have to reduce the amount of hours I’m in salon.

All of you know I hate saying no, and that won’t be the case, but i will have to give alternative dates to avoid working days off or late in the evening.

I hope everyone understands. I have to start looking at what’s best for me and my health to keep me in industry as long as possible.

And Thankyou to everyone who has been giving me advice, I appreciate you all so much!

The coming week before I take annual leave is super busy!

This may cause some wait times in salon, Although I will try my very best to see you at your appointed time.

I have tried my very best to fit in as many clients as I can, before, and as soon as I’m back but from trying to book appointments in these last few days, I have realised that there is no space available now until July I’m sorry!

As I progress further into my degree, there’s been a few conversations within the salon which suggests that I’m closing the salon to become a teacher!

I can assure all my clients that this is not the case.

I have been in industry now for 21 years, and achieved everything that is possible in terms of a stylist, running a business is not for the faint hearted, but I love it, and all of our wonderful loyal clients that makes studio k the salon that it is.

My decision to complete this degree, and get a qualified teaching status is to further my position within the industry, and to be able to give others a chance of also having the ability to gain the success in this industry, to add to my career, not give anything up.

Studio k is not closing, we love our industry and the people who chose to share it with us.
