*Customer Notice*

To all clients new & old first I’d like to thank you for your continued support over the years as the salon wouldn’t be where it is now without you.. but it’s time for a small change, Sam has decided to go self employed and run her own business within the Salon, she’s been thinking about this for a while and planning it out to see what’s best for her and decided that’s the route to take and I wish her the very best of luck going forward🤞🏻

So what this means for the salon is as from 30/08/23 Sam will be taking all her own booking’s and buying all her own products equipment etc, so basically from her clients point of view not much is changing just they will need to contact her directly to make booking’s from now on, number below.

*** Price Increase ***

To all my clients new & old as from Monday 10th January i will be increasing the prices in the salon, it’s not a decision I’ve taken lightly but due to bills and product increase’s i have no choice.

As you know doubt aware i do try to keep the prices in the salon as low as i possibly can and haven’t increased them since the beginning of 2020 but unfortunately at this present time I’m unable too.

**Polite Notice**

Please can everyone make sure you can make your appointments, if you can’t make it for any reason please let me know asap that you will not be attending as i have so many clients waiting on my cancellations list that i can fit in. Remember this could be you waiting on this list.

Unforeseen things can crop up I know but it’s just a message, So from now on if you don’t attend the pre-booked appointment I’m sorry but i won’t be able to rebook as it’s a very busy period.

The last few weeks has been a nightmare, for example i had 7 hours in one day with cancellations and no shows but still need to pay Sam’s wages and bills within the salon.

Please understand that I’m starting early and finishing late to get everyone in and it’s hard work at this time of year and really difficult to rebook cause December is full, it has been for a long time.

This post isn’t aimed at anyone in particular so please don’t take it personal i just don’t want it to continue the way it is, so to all my clients new and old i would be very grateful if you can help me in this matter.

Hi everyone,

As most will now know the salon has had to close due to Sam and i contracting coronavirus, we’re both fine but need to close the salon for a least 10 days as from today as told by track & trace.

Apologies to everyone that had appointments booked and especially to anyone affected by this.

I will be back in touch with everyone who I’ve had to cancel closer to opening the salon back up, stay safe and we’ll both see you all very soon.

Update: 22/03/21

To everyone concerned about isolating or getting a test done who was in the salon last week, track & trace says there’s no need as everyone were wearing masks, me and Sam in full PPE and all precautions are in place, children who were in the salon with no masks should have already been contacted by myself or track & trace to get a test.

**There’s no “big outbreak” at kelly’s hair salon**

Hi everyone hope you’re all safe and well, just a polite post about the run up to Christmas.

As you are all aware it’s extremely busy in the salon and all appointments are now taken, and as I’m working 13-14 hour shifts to get you in I’m unable to answer the phone or messages, Plus with Covid-19 restrictions in place with cleaning, sanitising and whereby how many people I can get in the salon makes it all the much harder for us.

if you need to cancel an appointment for any reason PLEASE let me know as soon as possible as I can get someone else in who’s waiting on the cancellation list, bare in mind this could be you one day waiting on this list for an appointment.. i cannot stress enough how important this is to me trying to keep things going in the salon.

Thank you so much for understanding, hopefully I can get back to some sort of normality early next year with no Covid-19 restrictions in place.

Hi all,

To everyone who has an appointment in the salon could you all please wear a face mask covering and make sure you come at your appointment time and not be late.. otherwise I may not be able to fit you in as I’m on a tight schedule.

also if you want an appointment please phone or text as I’m only aloud 4 clients at a time and the door will be locked so don’t arrive just to make appointments I will get back to you at the end of the working day.

We have hand sanitisers throughout the salon one of which is right next to the entrance door so please on arrival use this as to keep everyone safe.

It will be hard in the salon but we all need to distance ourselves as much as possible at least until we’re doing your hair.

I’ve already said it but please make sure you make your appointment time and not be late as we won’t be able to do your hair and you’ll have to rebook for a later date.

To all my clients new & old it is with great sadness I have to close the salon with immediate effect and for the foreseeable future due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this is not a decision I have taken lightly but the health & wellbeing of my clients is the upmost priority and that of my own & Sam and our family’s. I will however let everyone know in advance of when the salon will reopen.

I hope you all understand why I have taken this difficult decision and want to thank you all individually for you continued support and to Sam for your hard work during this incredibly challenging time.

We both look forward to seeing you all again as soon as it’s safe for us to reopen the salon.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
