It’s a bitter sweet decision that I’ve decided to leave the beauty industry, I’ve been at it for 16 years and it’s time to put down the tweezers and start a new exciting chapter. My last working day will be the 23rd December

I adore loganberries and all the girls, I will be really sad to not be spending my days with what have now become my best friends. A massive thank you to who brought me onto the team at the very beginning of her loganberries adventure, she’s been an absolute dream of a boss anyone in the future will be lucky to work for her and I’ve made a best friend for life out of it.

A massive thank you also to all my amazing clients who have supported me over the years I appreciate each and everyone of you, it feels more like I’m saying goodbye to friends and I will be sad to not see you all and have a good catch up. But I leave you in the capable hands of my colleague who I trust completely with your gorgeous faces. And whom I would of recommended before she joined the team.

I look forward to seeing you over the next month.

This if my skin 3 and Half weeks later after using define retinol and simply brilliant serum which is for pigmentation. All I have on in the second picture which was taken this morning is my brows , eyelashes and some concealer under my eyes

☁️ my skin is super reactive and goes red really easily. I also had post inflammatory hyperpigmentation from previous acne and skin irritation caused from damaging my lipid barrier

🐚 A few weeks later my skin is brighter , calmer and clearer. Below is my daily routine once I’m happy my barrier and skin is at optimal health I’ll introduce different products and active ingredients.

Types
Melasma- is generally down to hormonal changes and can develop during pregnancy or while on hormonal contraception. Darker skin tones can me more prone to it
Sun spots - age spots or liver spots are related to over sun exposure are generally found on the face , chest and hands and can be a sign of premature ageing
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation - p.I.e is normally a result of injury or inflammation of the skin a common cause is acne

Pigmentation is caused by a build up of melanocytes ( melanin ) the pigment that gives skin its colour .

☀️sun is a major cause of pigmentation one of the best preventions is wearing your spf daily. Along with targeted home care

🥼What are AHA’S ? we’ve all heard people talk about them but what do they actually do ?
On the outermost layer of our skin the old dry skin cells stick together , this makes our skin look lack lustre. AHA helps to break down the glue that holds them together, gently exfoliating away to reveal new healthy skin cells , giving us that radiant glow.
AHA’s come in different molecular sizes so pe*****te the skin a different levels. Glycolic been the smallest molecule pe*****tes deeper therefore causing more irritation.
Use a gentler form such as l-lactic , l-malic , l-tartaric when chemically exfoliating the skin it’s better to have a low and slow approach 🦔

No need for mascara here 🙌🏻 lash lifting really opens up the eye and gives them some drama .
