Let's start with , for Avocado ❤
The beauty properties of this little green goddess pack a punch. Full of Vitamins and antioxidants, this inflammation fighter is a must-have for the skin...
I use them in a few different ways x

1. After popping it in your salad, use what's left for your hands. Get all of the good stuff out! Massage your hands, nails and cuticles for five minutes. Then rinse. Super soft hands from something you would have thrown away x

2. Avocado makes a great face mask. Just mash it gently and apply it generously to your face. Leaving it on for ten minutes. Make sure you are lying down, so you don't get green goo on the upholstery! Try popping the mashed avocado in the freezer to chill; the cool mask will help as a little pick-me-up x

3. Simply eat it; we know that great skin comes from the inside. Providing vitamins A, B, C and K, avocados also help your body absorb nutrients, and recent studies suggest that the good fats in avocados help repair collagen 💋

Well, I have to admit, it's been a long time! I put Brodie Beauty on hold for a little while for several reasons. But the main one was I lost my passion for making natural skincare! Sad right? But, like many I have had a tough couple of years, losing many people I loved, illness and that little thing starting with the letter C... Neither helped me keep my mojo for creating amazing skincare!
However, I would love to get my mojo back! So, I am reviving Brodie Beauty, by combining my love of writing and natural skin care x

Good morning, Rachael from Brodie Beauty here x Did you know, I add hand grated cocoa butter to the dusting powder, to add a shot of moisture to your skin! Magically, it disappears into a fine powder.. which dusts onto your skin, leaving it silky smooth whilst absorbing moisture... Great to shake into smelly shoes too x 😀

Honey and oats aren't just great for breakfast but are wonderful for your skin! Try mixing some ground oats (you can pop a handful in your mixer and blitz) with a teaspoon of honey x Gently massage your face and hands, rinse and voila! Lovely, soft skin x Let me know how you get on? 💋 x
