These lashes have been on for 5 weeks! 😮

How do you ask?! ... proper application and the biggest thing - aftercare!

This client is one of my best clients because she looks after her lashes. She washes them everyday, she doesn't pick or pull at them. This makes the difference between your lashes lasting 2 or 3 weeks or lasting 4 or 5.

As always I have applied lashes to almost every lash possible which also helps her lashes last and this is also why my infills take around 2 hours.

Infill break down -

10-15 mins washing lashes, applying pads, taking off grown out lashes, cleanser, primer

20 mins inside corners

20 mins outside corners

50-60 mins rest of the lashes

5-10 mins going through lashes making sure there are none stuck together, a coat of superbonder and done 👌🏼

So we did something a little different and used brown lashes on this absolute beauty

She wanted a softer look than the black lashes so here we have a mix of black/brown that we used before and infilled with a mix of brown and dark brown lashes from

We also tried something new and used auburn tint on her brows to match her red hair ❤️

So you may have noticed that the shop has been closed over the last couple of months and here is the reason why.

Let me introduce everyone to Naya Elyana Nurpetlian, born on 3rd December 2021. I've been so wrapped up in my own little bubble for the last 2 months that posting the news was delayed longer than I intended. We kept this news very quiet and only close friends and family knew, along with regular clients towards the end, so I hope no one is offended that they didn't know until now 💕

Ru is still available for nails and piercings are still available with Bash, however, lashes are currently not available until I return from maternity. If anyone wants brows please message the ABL page.

I don't have a fixed date yet for my return however I am aiming for around April depending on how Naya and myself feel.

Most lash artists strive for perfection with their lashes, perfect fans, perfect lash map and of course good isolation.

Our clients don't see the in-depth things we see when lashing and realistically need a bit of education on what makes good lashes good and why lash extensions 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 ruin your natural lashes.

As you can see in my picture you can see one volume lash attached to one natural lash giving the natural lash chance to grow. On the other you will see lashes that have either not been isolated or the lash artist hasn't gone through the lashes at the end looking for stickies, 2 or more lash extensions stuck together, to separate them.

If you don't isolate it can also lead to more than one natural lash being attached to one extension and that can cause discomfort for your client and damage to their natural lashes.

Every lash artist should take a few minutes at the end of a set or infill to walk through the lashes to makes sure there are no stickies so that the natural lashes can still grow in their natural cycle and to stop any irritation for your client.

Lashes can still look amazing when your clients eyes are open even if they are all stuck together at the lash base but this is where we need to come in to educate clients that lashes should feel comfortable and not look clumpy or gluey at the bases.
