I'm making an effort to get really good quality before and after pictures because I'm always too busy chatting and also I'm literally my own worst critic and I hate posting things incase everyone laughs at me.

So after the passing of our Robocop i ended up floored with Tonsillitis. And for my OG clients that seen me still come into work when my rib fell off 🙃 yes it was bad to take me out. But I managed to watch 5 seasons of the handmaid's tale from my bed.

Sadly on the 23rd of June our wee baby robocop went to heaven, none of us have taken it very well. A routine vet appointment to check a lump turned into us facing a reality we'd all been ignoring.

The timing couldn't have been worse because we had just got Louies puppy and we were so hopeful we could have another year with the best dog in the world.

I've genuinely been so depressed, I've ignored my mails (169 mails to be precise 🫣) but I couldn't pour from an empty cup and I'm sorry. I've answered them all this morning and will be answering all the missed calls as well today.

⚠️BOOKING SYSTEM BACK ON ⚠️

Sorry for freaking everyone out, I had to take the booking system down due to a chance encounter in a supermarket with a person from my past who is a threat to me and all women.

I'm not scared, I'm prepared. I thought taking down the booking system would prevent him booking under a false name to try and get my attention. All it done was make all my beloved clients think I'd finally won the Euromillions and I was on a hammock in Fiji 🌴 the group chats have been abuzz at the concept.

Moving forward, as a security measure ALL ✨ NEW✨ clients will receive a welcome call from my colleague Louisa, confirming the appointment so that any inconvenience caused by this individual is absorbed by the business and not the wonderful clients who did not deserve to have their service disrupted this week and for that I am really really sorry ❤️

Oh no she's dropping some salon lore 🧏

All my facials are tailored after a consultation, I used to have loads of different facials on the booking system and the feedback was that it was confusing, so I took them off and replaced it with - dermaplane, dermaplane deluxe, winter repair and holiday prep. When actually it's much more indepth than that but it's hard to get it across on a booking system 🤷 but I won't charge you more than what you've booked 😏

it's like the time I got feedback that having every single style of lash extensions on the booking system was confusing so I took them all off and just had one rate and called it "eyelash extensions" then the feedback was "aw it's a shame you don't do hybrids etc" so I went in huff and stopped doing lashes for a year 🤣

My brains a bit like the board game kerplunk, it's absolutely mind blowing that I'm allowed to have a business, a child, even a plant 🤸 anyway here we go
