Q & A of brow tattooing

1 How do you do it?

A: we use a tattoo machine to either insert fine lines into the natural brow or create an ombré/powder brow.

2 Does it hurt?

A: this shouldn’t be painful, you are numbed at the start of the treatment and also numbed up throughout to keep you as comfortable as possible. You should feel mild scratching and a little pressure but not pain.

3 How long does it last?

A: you receive your first treatment and 4-6 week top up then you should return yearly for further top ups.

4 What is the difference between semi permanent make up and permanent make up?

A: nothing, they are both the same. Some people advertise as permanent make up because you do not need to apply brows daily after having this done. It is designed to fade over time and that is why it is known as semi permanent.

How much does it cost?

A: micropigmentation can cost anywhere from £250 to £500 for a treatment depending on the SPMU artist

What a beautiful set these were to do on this lovely lady today.

These are hair strokes that have a more natural look for ladies who don’t want the big bold brow or who are just a bit anxious about micropigmentation.

The lovely Nicola was in the salon today getting a set of ombré brows.

Nicola has fair skin with some red undertones we used some beautiful blonde pigment to give her a lovely natural tone to her brows

I’m in love. 😍

Nicola will return in 4-6 weeks for a top up as these will fade down by 50%

So this week I done something I have been dreaming about doing for the past 2 years!

As much as I love my job as an advanced nurse practitioner I really wanted to do something I would really enjoy and be able to give women (and men) something they love!!
