The last Super Full Moon of the year is in the Earth sign Ta**us. This full moon is known as the “Beaver Moon”, where Beavers are active during this time of the year, preparing for the winter and cold months ahead.

Ta**us’s Full Moon offers us a chance to step out of our comfort zone and to let go of anything that holds you back. During this Full Moon, you may experience unexpected changes, shifts and turning points leading up to the Full Moon which happens tonight on the 15th November, or after the Full Moon.

This Full Moon is all about stability and staying grounded. Practicing spiritual or mindfulness activities such as meditation, yoga, self care and working on your wellbeing is great to do at this time, especially if you have been putting something off now is the time to give yourself that push. Trust me, you’ll feel better for it!

Ta**us is ruled by Venus which is great as this Full Moon is on a Friday, marking Venus Day - a perfect day for self care and getting lots of well needed rest. Make time for yourself, even if it’s only 5 minutes that is enough 🖤

You may feel emotional during this Full Moon, you may feel apprehensive about the changes that are happening in your life but this Full Moon is a reminder even if feel hard practice feeling grounded within yourself. Allow yourself to feel all of the emotions that come up, they will help you find your way back to yourself that is what this Full Moon is all about. Connect with you and the Earth around you.

Scorpio ♏️ New Moon 🌑

Tonight we have a New Moon in the sign of Scorpio. After Samhain and the veil thinning, we have fresh new energy coming in for us. With this New Moon starting on the first of the month it ensures us we have a clean state for the month ahead.

This New Moon brings us transformation and rebirth, making it one of the most powerful New Moons of the year. It is all about ending cycles when the New Moon is in Scorpio and working towards our passions. While that can sometimes be a frightening thing for someone, for others it can be a time of surrendering and letting go of control. The phoenix is one of Scorpio’s symbols, so like the phoenix rising allow things to burn that no longer serve you.

New Moon’s energy is time where we can explore our darkness. This offers us opportunity to connect more with our shadow self and working through any unresolved trauma we have. With Scorpio being a fixed water sign, our emotions can be heightened during a New Moon which means certain subjects can be highlighted for us. So keep note of anything that may come up during this time. For instant, we may feel jealous or we may feel angry. This is important to work on just as much as any other feelings we have as it allows us to understand ourselves more and we can make the changes that are needed and put boundaries in place. Scorpio New Moon is the best time to practice and do some shadow work on these emotions. Self honesty allows us to grow and transform and this is what this New Moon is all about.

Another thing to add is that this New Moon is highlighted on Venus Day (The Goddess of Love). This energy is also great to us if you want to work on your passions and your desires, allowing things to manifest as you wish. A tip is to practice some Glamour Magic. Enchant your favourite Jewellery, Crystals, Frangance, etc. Ask for the Goddess for blessings.

FULL MOON 🌕 ARIES ♈️

The Hunter Full Moon takes place tonight in the fire sign of Aries. A Hunter Moon marks the beginning of Hunt season and it prepares us for Winter ahead. This is the Full Moon that is the lead up to Samhain (also known as Halloween). This Moon can be symbolic to starting a new chapter of life.

October’s Full Moon does have many names, and it can be known as the Blood Moon or the Shedding Moon as it means changing of the seasons where leaves fall on the ground.

Tonight is another Supermoon, meaning the energy will be even more heightened. Things may seem larger, more intense and emotions can also feel heavy during this time. Not only that, it is the beginning of the veil becoming thin in time for Samhain so things may seem stranger than usual.

With this Full Moon being in the sign of Aries taking action is an important theme here. The energy of Aries is they like to be focused, to know where they are heading, and a clear perspective on their purpose. They are the warrior of the zodiac, they fight for what they believe in and conquer any obstacles that are in their way of achieving their dreams.

Each of us have a purpose in this lifetime and during this Full Moon it is important to get clear on what your purpose is. Ask yourself what makes your soul happy? What brings you the most joy in life? This doesn’t need to be a complicated thing, nor does it require for you to make big plans straight away. Your purpose can be just by being yourself. If you are being true to yourself others will see that and be inspired by it and then follow in your footsteps. So be the change the world needs and don’t hold back. Aries are headstrong and they never hold back on their desires and passions. This is what this Full Moon will show you. Rather than fight your soul calling, it is time to look at your purpose and start charging ahead.

Keep in mind that this is still Libra season so while the Moon is in Aries, the Sun will be in Libra which can make it quite difficult for us as these signs are completely different from each other, but don’t let this put you off as it teaches us valuable lessons of each sign. This is about staying aligned with our purpose and growing, sharing and learning from our experiences. Aligning with our soul purpose may seem tricky but Libras encourages us to find peace no matter what the situation is. We are already taking steps towards our soul purpose.

♎️ Libra New Moon | Solar Eclipse 🌑

October’s New Moon is taking place today under the sign of Libra ♎️. Libra is a sign where partnership is important to them.

During this New Moon, it is a good time to get clear on what relationships you value the most and what relationships you wish to change as New Moon’s symbolise new beginnings and fresh energy. This can mean romantic, platonic, or it can be what relationship you have with yourself.

The theme of this New Moon focuses on balance, relationships and harmony so ask yourself what are you needing more of? Do you need more balance with yourself? Which means taking time out for yourself, planning more self care and making sure you are getting enough rest, or are you needing more harmony when it comes to your relationships? What boundaries can you put in place in order to protect your peace. It is a good time to journal on these questions around the New Moon.

Libra also values justice so expect this time to be a very transformative one. Triggers and issues from the past may come up if they have not been resolved especially during Eclipse season. What past shadows are you having to face? What are holding back or what blockages are you putting up? It is important to look at things from all perspectives as a Libra they like to understand everything from all sides of the scale. As we go through this New Moon, keep an eye out on what truths come up for you. Question everything around you to see what speaks your truth the most.

A Solar Eclipse takes place during this New Moon. This will spark intense energy between the Moon and the Sun. Solar Eclipse’s tend to hold majority of the energy and with the New Moon combined this means the energy will be amplified even more than a normal New Moon. It is a different degree of energy so if you are feeling more tired, more emotional, that will be why. South America will be able to see the Solar Eclipse but the rest of us will be able to feel the vibration.

Libra is ruled by Air, an Element which connects us to others and also the energy around us. For some, this energy of the New Moon may feel clearing for them. Their path may seem more open, but for others, some might get sucked in by the heaviness of the air so I think it is an important note for everyone to look out for one another during this time especially since Libras values partnerships so much they tend to look out for others and they love to help others. Show kindness, show compassion to each other and also to yourself. If you show yourself compassion, you will be able to give that to others and that can inspire others to do the same, and thus we all grow together.

Throughout this Libra season, situations may not always be calm, they might not always be peaceful, but with the right tools, with the right mind set we be able to turn that around. It is about learning to harness the energy around you and finding balance within the chaos all what we call life.

🧡 AUTUMN EQUINOX 🍁

Today marks Mabon, which is also known as the second Harvest (Lughnasadh being the first). This is a Pagan holiday where we celebrate Day and Night as equal, and it is one of the Eight Sabbats. It marks the end of Summer and the Beginning of Autumn.

Mabon is a time to give thanks, show gratitude for the first half of the year, reflect and prepare for winter. This is a time where we retreat, go inward, once that has died will soon be reborn, change will bloom into place and balance will be restored.

To celebrate this time of the year, it is important to do activities such as feasting on seasonal foods, decorating altars, performing rituals and honouring the change of nature around us. It is also important to show appreciation of the Gods and Goddesses who are associated with this time of the year.

The Autumn Equinox is closely associated with the Goddesses Persephone and Demeter. This is where Persephone returns to the Underworld and to Hades for the next 6 months and to full fill her roles as Queen of the Underworld, guiding the Souls of the Dead as the Veil becomes Thin. Demeter, the Goddess of the Harvest and the Grains, roams the Earth in the mourning at the loss of her daughter and turns everything around cold, leaving the crops to die and this carries on until her daughter is returned to her. This is why things may seem heavy this time of the year.

During Mabon, Persephone can be seen as a guide for us. This is where light gives way to the darkness. This is a time to embrace the shadows we hold, to let go, to shed old skin and step into our full selves with honesty and integrity. Persephone helps us find balance within ourselves. To become one with darkness and with light.

Associations with Mabon are Pomegranates, Apples, Pumpkins, Potatoes, Squash, Pears, Cranberries, Beets, Cider, Cinnamon, Cloves, Yarrow, Marigolds, Mugwort, Ivy, Thyme, Rosemary. Crystals that are associated with Mabon are Citrine, Amber, Labradorite, Periodt, Lapis, Smokey Quartz, Obsidian, Moonstone. Burn incense such as Frankincense, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Patchouli to bring in warm cosy energy.

If you wish to perform spell work, now is a good time to hone in on your protections, to let go anything that does not align with your path, prosperity and abundance workings, self confidence, balance and creativity spells are also recommended at this time of the year.

♓️ FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE 🌕

In this month of September, we have a Full Super Moon taking place in the sign of Pisces. This moon is known as the Harvest moon. It is the nearest Full Moon to the Autumn Equinox. The reason for this Moon is it allows farmers to work late into the Night to help them bring their crops from the fields. The September Full Moon occurs on the 17th with a partial Lunar Eclipse happening too.

So what is a Lunar Eclipse?

A Lunar Eclipse happens when the Earth, Sun, and Moon align, causing the Moon to pass into Earth’s shadow. They normally happen about two or five times a year. Lunar Eclipse take place on a Full Moon whether Solar Eclipses take place on a New Moon.

With a Lunar Eclipse taking place, it can mean that we can feel upheaval, transformation, and energy shifts in our daily lives. It said that Lunar Eclipse’s connect us to our Feminine Energy which we all have inside of us. Our intuition can feel more strong at this point too. Dreams will be more vivid during the Full Moon.

Lunar Eclipse’s hold a significant amount of change so in the next upcoming days expect some changes in your life to happen. Think of this as a push and use this cosmic energy to bring in good changes and releasing those old patterns that no longer bring you any joy. It doesn’t need to be a big change, but if it is something that makes you feel good then do it. It is about moving forward not back!

I understand that there can be some resistance when it comes to change especially when you have been used to something for so long, but think of change as a blessing. It gives you room to grow, to flourish and bloom like the Full Moon.

During this time, it is important to give yourself Grace. Show yourself compassion as you make these changes to your life and reflect on them. It may take some time to process but using this energy can benefit you in your healing journey.

Pisces is a water sign. This sign strives for truth, creativity and connections. Being a sign that is ruled by Neptune, it asks us to expand our dreams and to look at ourselves deeper. Pisces encourages us to embrace our true spiritual selves.

The Fish is represented in Pisces. It means having no bounds and endless freedom. It is about letting go of control. Not forcing things and allowing things to flow of what is meant to be and about trusting the process.

Emotional release and healing emotional wounds will come through during the Pisces moon. This is a time to burn away blockages and aim to achieve your dreams.

Not only does Friday falls on Venus Day which is sacred to Aphrodite, and in Norse Mythology known as Freya’s Day - The Norse Goddess of Love and Fertility. This number, 13, is connected to the Divine Feminine.

Now, a lot of people think that Friday the 13th is unlucky number, however, that is untrue. During pagan times, 13 was seen as a sacred number. This number was connected to the Lunar Cycles as well as Menstrual Cycles. This represents Fer, Death, Rebirth, and Creation.

🌑New Moon in Virgo♍️

On this Moon-Day monday, we have a New Moon in the sign of Virgo.

Now that the Mercury Retrograde is over, we have New Fresh Energy coming in. This energy is about finally seeing your path forward and encouraging you to continue on the process you have made this far into the year. Virgo is Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, and Virgos love to gather information and prioritise what is important to them.

Being a Mutable Sign, Virgo is all about Change. Change may seem scary for some, but it actually is a good thing. It a place where we can grow and learn new things about ourselves. This is the Zodiac Sign that comes right before the Autumn Equinox. This means days get shorter and our nights get darker longer.

Virgos like to have plans in place, to know what they are doing, especially when it comes to reaching their goals so this New Moon is a good time to do some shadow work about your Habits. Are they helpful? Are they harmful? Is there something that you want to change? Your intuition will let you know.

Self acceptance is one of the first steps to change and that is accepting everything about ourselves including our flaws. Virgos tend to be self critical and determined to have everything perfect. However, this New Moon is a time to practice more forgiveness and compassion whether towards yourself or others. Do not allow your mistakes to define you or hold you back, instead use this time to reflect on them and learn from them. ♒️ Sturgeon Full Super Moon 🌝

The sturgeon Super Full Moon is occurring on the 19th of August in the sign of Aquarius - one of 3 Air signs 🌬

This Full Moon is named after the Sturgeon Fish that were once abundant in the Midwest and Northeast United States during this time of the year. This moon is also known as “Flying up” moon, “Corn” moon, “Harvest” moon, etc. Not only that, with this Full Moon being the first Super Moon of the year, the Moon will appear brighter and bigger than most.

Now, with the Full Moon being in Aquarius this gives us an opportunity to reflect on who we really are and what is true to us. An Aquarius is highly creative, they are intuitive, and they like to be technical - they are known to be a bit rebellious too. So why not tap into that energy? During a Full Moon a lot of things can be revealed to us, situations start to illuminate themselves into the light, and certain emotions do crop up. This is perfectly normal, but it is up to you to trust that message, to accept the guidance that you are receiving at this time.

Our relationships with technology will be a theme for this Full Moon, it will challenge us on our awareness, how we want to live our lives. Are you spending too much time on your phone? Do you set boundaries with yourself for screen time, etc? This Aquarius Full Moon is asking you to look at your habits and release what is taking your energy away.

This is where the tricky part comes in because right now we have about 5 planets in Retrograde. This is where a planet is stationed backwards. We have Mercury Retrograde in the sign of Leo, the planet of communication, travel, quick thinking, etc, this can cause a frustration in our daily lives and our technology to go down. This planet as well as the Sun which is also in Leo opposes the Moon when it’s Full, causing some confusion and feeling disheartened when some Truths do pop up.

As well as that, we have the Aquarius Full Moon Squaring Uranus and a T- Square between Saturn (who is in Pisces Retrograde), Venus (Direct In Virgo), Jupiter and Mars (Direct both in Gemini). Meaning, it can cause friction between these planets but it does gives us an opportunity to grow and build awareness around them. While that is going on, we still have Neptune who is in Pisces Retrograde too, Pluto in Aquarius Retrograde, and Chiron in Aries Retrograde.

There is a lot of energies at play here during This Full Moon, but it really wouldn’t be a Full Moon without these energies. Despite the energies feeling heavy and that can feel uncomfortable, this Full Moon, like an Aquarius, brings us a sense of Freedom and it can strip us from the ego mind. It is like the Star in Tarot, Healing can be uncomfortable, but is also a Blessing, a new chance to gain Awareness and it allow us to be more intuitive and how we connect to ourselves.
