That’s a wrap from the 3of us!

Thank you to each and every single old, new and present clients! We appreciate every single one of you!

I cannot thank Linda Mcquade enough for everything over the 17years I have worked with her! She’s been with me through high and lows and some giggles along the way! She always has my back and I always have hers!

And Leah Raeside! What an amazing young girl who is an absolute credit to the salon! Never a moan from her when she’s absolutely rushed off her feet running after us!

Having been here 19years I feel like part of the furniture and as of today that’s no more 🥹 I look forward to my new venture and I wish Linda and Leah the best of luck with theirs too although there will still be plenty of texts and nights out to keep us all going!

FINAL WEEK !!! ❤️❤️

So day two and it’s been mad in the salon. Really sad saying goodbye to each others clients but very grateful to have had you all come and be part of our wee shop over the years. Myself and Michelle are so pleased that our clients will be joining us on our new venture. Can’t believe it’s the start of a new era. Sunday will be out last day together and if you are passing being a client, friend, family or even previous staff members we would love you to pop in for a wee glass off fizz and say goodbye to us.

Thank you all for all the beautiful cards flowers plants presents chocolates, biscuits and off coarse alcohol over the last couple of weeks we truly are blessed and very thankful.

I would also like to thank each one of you amazing clients that showed so much love and gratitude to our lovely Leah who has been an amazing member off our team and who will do amazing in her new job. This girl is the most committed hard working selfless young lady that I have had the privilege to have had with me. Her new employee has definitely won a watch with this girl on their team.

Thank you all again for making our job so much easier with so many lovely customers over the years and we look forward to doing the same next year just in different surroundings 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

Important news !!!

Dear client, friend family, present past and new
I would just like to inform you that as from the end of the year Alexander Hair Studio will be closing it doors and moving on to pastures new after 17 years. Linda has come to the end off her lease and will be moving on as well as Michelle and Leah to brand new ventures.

Myself ( Linda ) has been fortunate to find a brand NEW HAIR AND BEAUTY SALON ) which I will be working from after Christmas. This will literally be around the corner in ANDERSON STREET AIRDRIE!! at the moment it is being refurbished and be opening within the next couple of months. As much as it’s sad that I will be closing I am really looking forward to working in a brand new salon that will offer a lot more services to you all. Myself and Michelle have informed as many clients as we can at the moment regarding what we are both doing for our future and are very grateful to all our loyal and continued clients that have said they will follow us on to pastures new.

Michelle will be opening her own salon a beautiful new cabin (at her home )being built at the moment which you will be seeing her progress through her social media.she has let all her loyal amazing clients know off this and will follow and support her also in her brand new business. I will miss her so much as she has been my back bone and supported me and actually been there longer (19year) but we will still annoy each other with our funny txting lol !! So so proud of what she is going on to do for herself and her future too !!

Leah is finishing her level 3 and will decide what she wants to do for her future when she has finished. I am absolutely proud off her and am so grateful to have had such an amazing young beautiful young girl that has never once let me down and always been there to help myself and Michelle look after all you our clients . I am very grateful to them both staying with the team till the end on Christmas Eve !!

I would just like to thank each and every one of you that came to ALEXANDER HAIR STUDIO not only as a Cllient/ friend but also to all the employees that I had over all the years. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to run the salon and have so many lovely people come through our doors. So many memories too.

But for now it is business as usual and we look forward to seeing our clients in Alexander hair studio till then and then our new salons.

We also know we have a few weddings / communions next year which Michelle and myself will still be committed to working together to do these. We may not be working beside each other but we are very much together and supporting each other in our new journey.

I am super proud to announce that the lovely Leah has qualified her level 2 in hairdressing. As she transitions from junior to junior stylist we are offering all services half price with her throughout feb and March. She has worked very hard and you all know she is such a hard working polite young lady.
She has been with us over two years and I could not have asked for a better assistant. This girl never complains. always works late and I am practically forcing her to sit down and have a breaks. I am so so proud of you Leah. Here’s to a long exciting career ahead of you my girl ❤️❤️
