This week’s weather has been meant that it’s been wonderfully quiet at No.3
It’s encouraged me to slow down, to stop rushing from one thing to the next.
It’s felt like a little gift—a chance to pause, recharge, clear out cupboards, clear out my mind, potter in the garden and reflect on where I’m heading.
And… I’ve bought a journal which arrives today.
Journalling has always felt a little intimidating to me.
Where do I even begin?
Do you journal?
Do you write about your day? Your feelings? Your plans? Do you just let the words wander wherever they fancy going?
Do you have a little ritual? A favourite time of day? Or do you just write whenever the thoughts come drifting in? Or is that just me trying to make it far more complicated than it needs to be?
Part of me feels really drawn to it so I’m going to stop overthinking it and simply begin. We’ll see where it take me 🧚🏽
I’d love to hear your journal experiences 📖💭
Not sure if nit nurses still exist 😂 me and my sisters probably had the cleanest heads in the village 😁
A scalp massage is just the dreamiest when it’s done well 💆🏼♀️
Melting 🫠☀️😳
I love this weather, I’m a complete sun worshipper but massage & this heat don’t mix well 🍦
Sending love to all the other therapists out there!
Zero Tolerance 👊🏼
And it’s such a shame that so many practices switch to female only spaces because of this ☹️
I was Head of People for a large creative agency in my past life where I implemented many wellbeing initiatives. I understand deeply about the importance of taking care of your people & in our world of hybrid home/office working, office wellness days are such a lovely way to bring everyone together.
The company I visited this week do this so well with their ‘Connect Days’ - a little company update, a little lunch together & a little mini massage to de-stress. It’s just a lovely way to show your teams that they’re supported, valued, appreciated & keep them connected!
Just a simple set up that goes a long way to create a happier, healthier workforce.
If this is something that you think your organisation would benefit from get in touch or speak to your people team & pass them my details, I’d love to support 🤍
I’ve created a little treatment REST, RESET, REVISE: perfect for young people during this time that will focus on de-stressing, calming and refocusing.
This 50 minute back, neck and head massage is a gentle escape from study to recharge and reset.
Long study hours, stress, and lack of sleep can quickly lead to burnout—and it’s not always easy for young people to recognise the signs.
Massage can gently support their wellbeing and help them stay balanced by:
Reducing stress (lowering cortisol levels)
Promoting better sleep through melatonin
Easing muscle tension from hours at a desk
Supporting a calmer, more focused mindset
A small step like this can make a big difference to how they feel, rest, and perform.
You can find this new treatment via the book now link in bio 🤍
My diary in May is still fairly clear so get booked in before it fills xx
& below are some of the reasons MLD might be just the treatment for you:
1. Reduces swelling
One of the most established uses is managing swelling, especially in conditions like lymphedema. It helps move excess fluid out of tissues and back into circulation.
2. Supports immune function
Improving lymph flow can help your body transport white blood cells and remove waste.
4. Helps recovery after surgery
Common after procedures (especially cosmetic surgeries), it can reduce bruising, swelling, and discomfort, and may speed up healing.
5. Improves circulation
While different from blood circulation, better lymph flow can indirectly support overall fluid balance and reduce feelings of heaviness.
6. May reduce bloating
Some people notice temporary relief from water retention or abdominal bloating due to fluid movement.
7. Relaxation and stress reduction
The slow, rhythmic technique can activate the parasympathetic nervous system (your “rest and digest” mode), helping you feel calmer.
Head the booking link in my bio to book a session or DM if you have any questions 🤍
Often I start a full body massage at the feet 👣
If your shoulders are really tense, working there straight away can feel too intense. Beginning at the feet helps calm your nervous system and gently relax the whole body first.
By the time I reach your shoulders, everything has softened—making the release deeper and more effective 🧚🏽
